BE CAREFUL! The Speck SeeThru Satin case that has the "Yep, it fits!" sticker it a complete sham. What did they do? They opened all of the old cases and chopped off the part of the case that was getting in the way, and not in a clean way either, and sold it as new without any indication! The one I just got was completely dirty/dusty and the part of the case that they cut away looks like crap. I have contacted Speck about this and they don't give a damn. I'm so upset (I can't just return it, my mom spent $10 to send this to me and the closest apple store is 60 miles away). They also said that they have no knowledge about the "Yep, it fits!" sticker.

Yeah, saw some of the Incase Hardshell with new labels saying that it works with the 90 degree magsafe. So far I saw three color, Black, White and Green.
Really, cool! I only saw white and pink...maybe they will add more colors soon.

Not sure about this but I've got Speck see-thru case that I picked up from BestBuy last week and it works with my MBP 13 2010 without any problem with power adapter. Here is image of the same..

I have the exact same case. I don't understand why everyone complains about them. Works perfectly.

Oooh, I was wanting to purchase the knock offs off ebay, because it's really expensive at the store. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any clear cases that I liked on eBay

I finally ordered one for my 13"MBP.The magsafe fits perfectly, but it does seems that speck did just shaved the plastic off - -;; Cost saving, but this is going to cost Speck some reps! I honestly don't mine it though, it's barely noticeable anyway. But cheap asses all the same

Both of y'all have ordered ones from the ebay seller "villashowshow"? And you both have the new 2010 MBPs right? Just making sure!
I am really tempted now to try one of these. I want to get the pink one. I could care less about the Speck logo...that little glowing Apple logo is all I need and care about!

I'm going to order the pink one (it's from the same seller so I assume it's the same one as your blue one). So glad to have found this thread. While I was prepared to pay the $50, I thought it was pretty pricey for pieces of plastic. But I want to do whatever I can to protect this "baby"!
Did you order anything else for your MBP there? If so, I would love to know. I saw keyboard covers, screen protectors, and sleeves. I actually found one listing for both a pink case and a pink sleeve (also out of China) for $14.99 and thought to myself "no way!" but it had shipping charge of $14.99. I would've been a bit apprehensive to order it anyways (it was a different seller)...I always like to have a previous buyer's opinion before purchasing.
I've got to admit though, the phrase "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is" keeps running through my head. But maybe that is just because I've been looking at the overpriced ones at the Apple store?!?

speck has changed their packaging.
now instead of a little sleeve cover over it and such, it's just the solid plastic and you open it at the tab on the bottom.
also, they put plastic protectors around the edges of the case, and they don't include a cleaning cloth anymore.
so, casing got better.
no cleaning cloth is worse.
but whatevers.

I didn't buy from that seller since like the old specks, it does not fit the new magsafes, I even asked the seller (though I might just buy one from villashowshow and just sand off the magsafe area)
I bought one from another seller that is designed for the new magsafes but the one I bought has the apple logo cut out (I'll update with pics when I get it this week)
My friend bought one (from yet another seller) a few weeks ago and it took less than 2 weeks to arrive, since the postal office isn't busy this time of year.
make sure to update how it looks if anyone of you are going to or have bought that one from the villa seller (they just took the image from a speck case) so I'm not sure if that's the real color
though I have to say that the light blue clear speck case is pretty good looking

Anyhow, assuming I'm not hallucinating and I really did see that, I was going to ask if you could remember your seller's eBay handle name? Was the $13 with or without shipping? I'm trying to go through right now to figure out which one you ordered (by looking for apple cut out and $13 price point) and can't figure it out for life of me!!
