That looks absolutely gorgeous. Do you know if the blue light will pass through if you put an Apple Sticker over it? I like the Apple Logo in white, so I was thinking of putting one of the apple Stickers over it.

The apple light it self passes thru, but obviously not as much as it would without the case. The light itself is white, does it look blue in the pictures? I dont get why you would put a white sticker of an apple over a white light of an apple lol. Maybe I'm misunderstanding?

In the pictures, the apple logo looks blue. Check this one in particular: http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=240346&d=1279725792 Therefore, I was thinking of putting an Apple Sticker over it, so it'd look White.

That's great. In every youtube vid it does look kinda blue... and the user itsmemorphious also said it did kinda look blue-ish :\

I checked it again under less lighting, and it does infact look kinda blue, especially if you view it on an angle. If you look straight on, looks white. I dont think it matters much, would that be a deal breaker for you?

I'm not sure it'd be a "deal breaker", but heh, I'd like it white. That's why I was thinking of putting a White Apple Sticker in the place where the blue comes up. Since the light doesn't seem to strong anyway, I think it'd disguise nicely. And if it didn't, I could just slap the other one above it.

I was actually typing that I would try that out for you but I remembered I have an invisible shield underneath, I can already tell the speck is ruining it. Dont want to take it off until I have to, to clean. I do wonder how that would look though, if the stickers would work at all lol.

Ruining the shield? Hm. Well, I also has the intention of putting an invisible shield, in order to protect the macbook pro from scratches. But the Apple sticker would go above the Speck. How does the invisible shield influence that?

I thought you'd want to put the sticker in-between the notebook and the speck. In my opinion that would look pretty ugly, it would be okay if it was behind the scenes just to change the colour of the light, but if its upfront like that wouldnt look too good. I'll try it out with one of my stickers and post a pic for you today.

As for the invisible shield. I put the speck on immediatley after installing the invisible shield. I had to the invisible shield off for some spaces so the speck could fit. Had to take off the two back corner pieces, and one of the side pieces. The speck would always go under and not over the shield. Im afraid if I take the case off the invisible shield will come off with it.

where are you guys getting blue? I'm staring at mine right now and it clearly looks purple

It only looks blue in the pictures. In reality it just has a blueish tinge. Its still more white than anything, but like I said. Just a tinge. You could call it a purple tinge as well.

Do NOT PURCHASE

I have a 13 inch mbp.Yes, this case does protect the computer, but after about 8 months of use, the case causes the hinges to become lose, a $265 dollar repair. I:mad:t is better to just carry it in a soft case when your not using it and just leave it bare when you are using it.

How did the case cause the hinges to become loose?

I dont think thats the cases fault...
It barely even touches the hinges.
I had this case for over 2 years and never had a problem.
Been protecting my mac every day.

I installed one of these cases on my 2.3 rMBP since new and removed it like 5 months later upon its sell (now have a higher end 2.6 rMBP) and the body did not had a single scratch on it. The same case now protects my new rMBP. Excellent Product
