Here's my setup. I love the colour :D

That looks so nice. I thought I loved the look of the MBP naked, but the pics in this thread are convincing me otherwise. May I ask where you purchased the purple bag? I love it.

Edit: Nevermind! I see in your title that it says Knomo case

That's a misleading review..

Disagree, it wasn't misleading at all. In fact, it was based on reality and was spot on. If the non-alignment/ill-fit isn't an issue for you so be it. Personally, not spending that kind of money until they have one that fits exactly. In addition, a bad fit is another entry point for dust and dirt to get inside the cover. I'm glad that someone out there pointed this out. Given this info, people can make an informed decision about what they want to do.

^^^^^ I read the review. Definitely nothing to worry about. Never had that problem at all and I kinda know what he means. But it definitely don't bother the way it charges. Works perfectly for me.

The reality though is...

1. The charger either fits way off center

2. Or if you have it the other way it fits right BUT covers up some of the ports and makes then unusable.

Either way IMHO is unacceptable for a $50 piece of merchandise.

I don't have one, but I've seen it; it's like a banana peel.

Hmm. I would need to see it before I make a decision then. Does anyone know if they sell the yellow color in apple retail stores? I'll just look at it when I go to buy my new macbook if they do.

I have had the red and purple Speck See-Thru Satin hardcases and loved them both. Maybe the purple just a little bit more. I have been wanting to try an Incase but haven't felt the need. I have never had a problem with dirt and grime scratching the computer. I can barely get the top piece off without help. So I don't think a lot of grime gets in there very easily.

I used my purple case on both the unibody aluminum Macbook and my new 2010 13" Macbook Pro. I did notice the difficulty with getting the magsafe to connect from the aforementioned angle. However, there is barely an issue if you place it correctly. Also, as the wire becomes more malleable, it is easier to align correctly.

It fits now!!

Just a follow-up. speck has revised both their SeeThru Satin and SeeThru products to fit the April 2010 MBP.

The packaging on the revised ones has a blue label - about 3" x 3" folded over the right edge and front of the box, about midway down - which reads: "Yep, it fits! the new MacBook Pro models with 90˚ MagSafe"

Got one in-person at Apple Store. Looks and fits great!!

It does in fact fit properly. Make sure it has this blue sticker though if you have an April 2010 MPB. Don't know for sure if you'd get this new one via orders to Amazon or Apple.

Wow, is that the satin? Another purple freak here, so want one for my 15" after seeing your pics, thanks :D

what year is your macbook pro? I read the specks dont fit the newer power cord of the unibody 2010 models. Someone on here told me they do, but a review on amazon says not

The "new" ones should fit the 2010 versions

as someone has mentioned before, there are distinctive packaging cues on the new ones

As I said, the ones with the blue sticker DO FIT my 2010 MBP. I have one...those specks with the blue sticker on the box are perfect. Got it yesterday right at the Apple Store.

I picked up the incase vivid green for mine, I really like it :)

I hope it is alright for me to revive this thread!

If anybody owns (or has seen) the incase vivid turquoise hardshell, could they please post pics or a description of the shade?
