If crapple has a product with specs that are better than the rest = Specs Matter, and are super important. (first few iphone releases)

If crapple has a product and the specs are behind what every other product on the market offers (almost) = Specs do not matter. (just like now with the 4S)

you see its easy, they matter when they are better, but dont matter when they are worst. DUh...

My mom asked me to buy a computer for her. She wanted 27" screen, 12Gb ram and quad core at the least. Gave me cash here.

I asked her. "So... what are you planning to use this computer for?"

She replied "My co-worker got a new computer. I want new one too to check my email and facebook"

....Evil looks in my eyes. Trots off, comes back with my old machine swapped with new 27" screen, but 2GB ram and single core lol. She never knew the difference. Woot i got new Quad core is smoking fast for meeh selfish *_^

That's what a douched son do when he lives from her mother's money, can't afford to buy his own computer and scam his mother instead.

No .. it's better for your mom to be scammed by someone else when she find out about it.

Crapple? What are you, 8?

I've got no clue as to those benchmarks being good or great, but without quality apps, which Android does not have, your cell phone could kill Lord Voldemort or levitate cars, it would still not be that much fun to use. That is, of course, if you like to tweak the GUI and the weather widget.

That's what I mean, the "software" of the Mazda works fine with the "specs", but those same "specs" don't translate to the same performance with the "software" of the mustang. Specs are great, but they are only a part of the story, so it all depends on what you want. Do want an economic car that uses little gas, but also is not as fast nor as powerfull but gets you from point a to b (blackberry), or do you want a speed demon of a sports car (galaxy nexus), or a luxury car that tries to balance everything and provide a smooth ride (iPhone)?

no

I'm not passing judgement but i will say it must be nice to live in a glass house and pass judgements. We should all strive to be as perfect as you are! :p

So I guess you are ok with scamming your mother, or in his case stealing her money. Neither of which I would do. I'm not perfect, but I would never do that to a friend or family member, much less my mother.

In which ways ARE you imperfect, then? It's possible that we've got you beaten in that area.
That poster hasn't been on the forums for more than 5 years.

How do people find and decide to dig up threads like this (for no real reason)?

Search can be the culprit as “similar thread” can be, too.

Not the end of the world, we have all done it.
Sure, but then if it was related to some actual topic it seems that the post that brings an older thread up would be about that, not some essentially unnecessary snarky off topic reply to some really old post.
