Well, quite honestly, this case in general is amazing.
It protects your phone so well without much bulk and it looks sleek. You get good protection + a minimalist and sleek design which pretty much gives you all you need in a case these days. The back isn't even slippery at all.

Headphone jack is fine as long as you dont use the really large ones. I would have much preferred if the back didn't have the hole showing the apple logo, I prefer it looking like a "unibody" but it's not really an issue.

With regards to the finger print and scratching of the back, they are true but they are really minor issues. Mostly likely only people with OCD will ever go crazy about them or at least people who treat their phones like babies (which is understandable considering the worth of iphones). The point of a case is protection and the added aesthetics is a plus. What more can you ask for?

high wolf which version are you talking about. I really like hwo the $20 buck version looks but I don't know how safe it is. I mean I hardly drop it but it really only take 1x to crack. I baby the phone but know it's only new when you open the box. I just want to make sure the screen doesn't crack

These don't scratch anywhere near as bad as the previous slim armor did. That had a harder plastic part on the back, the Tough Armor has a rubberised texture so it doesnt scratch from normal use.

I have the case and it's amazing! Definitely the otterbox killer! Don't hesitate to buy it right away

I don't know about versions, I have the one from spigen's site. I assume they only have one tough armor there. I think it depends on the height of the drop, have you tried giving it a shot to email spigen? With regards to the screen, drops will crack screen sometimes, you really just have to be careful.

True, this one scratches less than the previous backplates like the original slim armor

Version 2 mentioned above, is more like a 2 part bumper with a thin TPU material. Not much for protection from drops but it is a very nice case. I have used that particular case with my GS4. Not something I would want to drop everyday.

The tough armor (I have only had this on my ip5) is just what it says It is....tough armor! I have been using this case since this past Tuesday and I like it a lot.

5s Pics?

Can anyone post photos of their tough armour on the iPhone 5s space grey?

Thank you in advance!

Wondering if the silver or the black case will look better:apple:

Today is my first day with this case. So far I like it. It is much thinner than the Defender and Commuter. I am not sure how they can claim it protects as much as the defender does, but if it really can than that's amazing. Very slim feeling coming from the otterbox commuter which I have been using for close to a year

For anyone who took the Tough Armor Challenge on the Spigen website, how long did it take to get your discount code? I submitted mine over the weekend & haven't received the code yet ... just anxious to place my order as my 5s arrives tomorrow & I want to get it protected asap!

This guy did a drop test and surprisingly the case and phone survived: http://youtu.be/cSeqixcu6y0

I ordered 2 for my 2 phones. First one I submitted 2 weeks ago took a day. 2nd one I submitted last week took 2 days.

My guess is they are even busier now and didn't work this weekend.

I also got the email that I would receive the discount code on Saturday and have not heard from them yet.

I have the slate one and it doesn't look as good with the space grey 5S as it does with the slate iPhone 5. If buying now i would get black.

Can't you change the back plate on these?

To those waiting for codes, reply to the email Spigen sends after uploading pic..

Same thing happened to me and I emailed them this morning and got the code about an hr ago...

MonoPrice Lightning Cables Fit?

Can anyone confirm if the Monoprice lightning cables fit this case?

I have no idea what monoprice lightning cable looks like but have you seen the opening on the case? It looks pretty big to me compared to other spigen cases

This really is such an great case! Spigen found the perfect balance between style, size, and protection. Wayyy better than any of the other cases ive used before. check out the sweet pic from their facebook. plus they have the tough armor challenge going on!

This was my favourite case until i got the new black Apple leather case. Maybe not as good drop proof but is much slimmer and feels better to hold. Shows off the grey around the edge of the phone too. Tough Armor for a protective case is still a bit slippery on the sides. Apple logo will scratch too if not careful, and the buttons are a bit stiff. Just my 2c worth comparing both.

I can confirm that the Monoprice cables fit the apple leather case. It's a pretty small opening on that one.. I ordered a tough case so I'll let you know when it arrives.

If it fits the Apple it will fit the TA.
