My roommate is having too much fun playing with my notifications on ML. I'm sitting in my bed with my headphones in as to not hear anything about anything and he keeps sending me emails, iMessaging me, and tweeting me about what happened in the keynote. I finally shut off all notifications from those three apps... Hopefully that does the trick.

You can turn on the Do Not Disturb mode in Mountain Lion?

Omg it's up!

Sorry, had too. I know someone went through a roller coaster of emotion as they saw that then quickly realized they must continue the wait. :p

last event (for the iOS event in may or june), the video came really quickly...
about this time ^^.

and for
finally able to login!!! Don't know what happened there, but this is seriously taking forever!!!

i had a problem to, i had to reset my PW...

my prediction: 2:30pm PST (pacific time), lets see now...

I believe that's roughly the time frame for the last one, but not positive. I remember having to be at work at 7pm Estern (4pm pacific) and being able to watch some of the keynote before hand. We will see though.

Phew… I was finally able to login too.

What I was going to say, an hour ago, was that generally, when the keynote is longer, it takes longer for it to be posted. Makes sense when you consider the additional encoding and uploading time.

Its funny cus I checked CNN TV online today and they were streaming it live, and I was 25 minutes late, so I said "oh, I'll wait till they post it later". I am regretting that decision right now.

i was going to say this too...i mean it makes sense logically if you think about it...the longer the source...the bigger the size of the output of the video file...

Gaaah, give us the video now Apple! I'm lucky I don't start school until 11 tomorrow! (it's 10:51 here in Sweden now)

Tjena, my Swedish fellow! Starting school at 9:45 tomorrow... If it doesn't come out in like 15 minutes I'm probably going to read the live blogs :(

You can change the individual settings on System Preferences / Notifications. However, I don't know of a global DND mode.

  1. Slide Notification center open
  2. Scroll the notification list down (past the top), it will reveal a toggle switch "Show Alerts and Banners"
  3. Slide it to off

if you scroll up in notification centre, you have a toggle : Show alerts & banners.

if you turn that off, i think it turns all notifications off.
