They should stream it live for the many who want to see it right away and then post the keynote later on polished the way they like it. Most ppl who are hardcore enough to want to watch the keynote don't care about the editing they want to see it live. The one's that could stand to wait likely don't care to sit through a 2 hr presentation. They'd just rather see the couple minute video or look at photos or ads.

Yeah, I can agree with you on that, I'm just saying why I think they're editing, not saying I think they should, because I agree wholeheartedly on that point!

What if the keynote is postponed and we are expecting the video of an event that just didn't happen?

What if everyone is reading this thread and laughing at us?

The rather depressing thing is to watch my Safari Bookmark Bar and realize that there is only ONE link out of 15 that can be clicked without showing any news related to Apple or its releases... :D

Didn't they use to live stream them back in the day? I seem to recall watching live online in the late 90s or early 00s.

So I'm currently passing the time on FB. How much longer before that becomes unsafe because my friends or family start commenting on the iPhone?

But, but, new shiny Apple products!

Oh well, that's it for me.

I will have to watch it on my commute tomorrow.

Soldier on, people, good night.

Do you dare use Facebook?! I don't, I've liked way too many "unsafe" pages, and have too many "unsafe" friends! Currently have 3 tabs open; this thread, keynotechecker, and Apple Events!

You must be crazy. I bet there are already tens of thousands of posts about what Apple has just introduced, and probably that's not an iPhone. Who knows, after all?

Wrong crowd bro :D

Haha, indeed.

Even though we might currently sound like there's nothing else, I guess most of us are just diehard fans who cannot concentrate on something else until they've seen the thing, so what else can you do than to hang out in a place and talk about the "suffering"? :p

Let us be fanatic, we're impatient fanatics ~3 times a year, it's not that bad. :D

I hate the "hey, just be patient" and "your life doesn't revolve around this single thing" phrases when I'm impatient, so if you have to say it, say it afterwards. :D

Anyone know why they stopped streaming the keynotes live?

In the early 00's Steve used to make quite a big thing about the number of people streaming live online at the start of his keynotes...
