Voidness' Keynote Checker hasn't been updated
I'm sure someone on this thread may give in tomorrow & follow the blogs (I'm hoping they will post the link here for the Keynote).EDIT: I see you put the Apple Events page link. That's a good find - I personally always check that out (I did for WWDC). It typically first appears there, then iTunes (for who subscribed to Apple's Podcasts). However, the links are usually up for 30 minutes unpublished (that's where Voidness' Keynote Checker shined because it would find them!)
I love these spoiler free threads!! I did it with the 4S last year and even though a redesign was not presented I still loved watching the keynote!! I also did this with the iPad 3rd gen!!
Although I don't plan on getting this gen (4S contract last year) I'm still gonna watch and see what else apple has for us!!
Also hope they release an updated iMac cuz I am gonna need one of those lol

Hi all, come here for a spoiler-free experience of the September 12th, 2012 iPhone Event! This thread will contain the official live keynote stream (if one is available). Please don't post any rumors/speculation. Until then, feel free to pass the time here.
Rules
- Do not mention any current rumors/new rumors
- Do not talk about Fight Club
- Do not mention Apple's stock price
- Do assume everyone in this thread has heard nothing about iPhone Event
- Use common sense when posting
- Do not say what was not in the Keynote (ex. "They didn't update the AppleTVs!!")

Purpose of This Thread
The purpose is that people can bookmark this thread, and check in periodically to see if a link to the Keynote is posted. That way, they can watch the Keynote without seeing everything that was announced on MacRumors homepage (ex. "Apple announces a New 128GB iPhones"). Basically, it's "Spoiler-Free" as in you're watching the Keynote without knowing what's being announced. It's like we've all seen trailers for a movie (like the part leaks), but I want to watch the movie without knowing the ending
Also if someone does post spoilers please report them via the button located on the left of each post. Please do not quote the offending post.

I think that's kinda the opposite of what this particular thread is about :/ sorry to be the forum police lol. This thread is for talking about anything but iPhone rumours while we wait for the keynote link. I know it doesn't make sense to a lot of folk but we do enjoy it
everyone saying that it needs a redesign is a bit silly. The design of the 4/4S is still the best there is and I would go with it for the 5. If they do redesign it is going to be very hard to improve on. Don't get upset if there is no redesign because you will still have the best looking and performing phone on the market.

UPDATE: to FSMBP and all others: this thread has officially made it to the home page of macrumors....so the admins should update that link with the video once it is out! At least this is better than having nothing or checking for the video link ourselves (and potentially getting spoiled!)

I always try to go spoiler free but temptation always wins and end up following the live blog

Wow, very impressed. I thought about the spoiler free thread a few days ago and thought, "nah, it's too early". But I guess it's never too early.
I haven't read through The first few pages yet, but just in case nobody's addressed the details of the rules, here's my take, as a six year SF veteran:
Don't talk about ANYTHING related to the new Apple ANYTHING. That's the simplest way I can put it. There was a bit of confusion and a lot of argument coming from newbs who didn't "get it". This is just a place to while away the time before, during and after the keynote, talking about movies, books, celebrity gossip or what have you, until the keynote stream is up. OK? If you don't like it, go elsewhere and spoil away.
Spoiler free for six years and counting.
