Although I realize threads like this have been done before, I thought it was time to give our Mods and Gods another big thank you for all their hard work here on MacRumors. I thought it was fitting as well due to the recent appearance of our founder on CNBC today.
Out of the many forums I have visited I have to honestly say that MacRumors is the best site I have come across when it comes to moderation and overall administration. The Mods do an excellent job of keeping things clean, tidy and well-organized and the end result is a fun, entertaining and informative online community. Matters such as spam and offensive language/posts/members are dealt with swiftly and accordingly and even the little day-to-day behind the scenes tasks such as removing images from quotes, post merging and the like really make a difference in my opinion. I want the Mods to know these somewhat thankless tasks do not go unnoticed.
And lastly, lets not forget the Editors as well who do an excellent job of collecting, processing and compiling the myriad of data which is out there and presenting it in a timely manner for everyone at MacRumors to become informed about, discuss, argue and get frustrated over.
What would the site be without the rumors after all!
So, thanks to the entire MacRumors crew. It makes it easy for me to justify contributing to a site like MacRumors when it is run so efficiently and is such a welcoming place populated with great, knowledgeable and entertaining fellow members.
And that's all I wanted to say.
