Although I realize threads like this have been done before, I thought it was time to give our Mods and Gods another big thank you for all their hard work here on MacRumors. I thought it was fitting as well due to the recent appearance of our founder on CNBC today.

Out of the many forums I have visited I have to honestly say that MacRumors is the best site I have come across when it comes to moderation and overall administration. The Mods do an excellent job of keeping things clean, tidy and well-organized and the end result is a fun, entertaining and informative online community. Matters such as spam and offensive language/posts/members are dealt with swiftly and accordingly and even the little day-to-day “behind the scenes” tasks such as removing images from quotes, post merging and the like really make a difference in my opinion. I want the Mods to know these somewhat thankless tasks do not go unnoticed.

And lastly, let’s not forget the Editors as well who do an excellent job of collecting, processing and compiling the myriad of data which is out there and presenting it in a timely manner for everyone at MacRumors to become informed about, discuss, argue and get frustrated over. ;) What would the site be without the rumors after all! :D

So, thanks to the entire MacRumors crew. It makes it easy for me to justify contributing to a site like MacRumors when it is run so efficiently and is such a welcoming place populated with great, knowledgeable and entertaining fellow members.

And that's all I wanted to say. ;) :)

I agree. :)

They do so much for the site, yet do they get paid? No(t that I know of)!

Y'all are awesome. Y'all keep macrumors functioning. :)

They always do a great job. The forums are always useful without the rubbish other forums display.

Yes, I think this is needed after the horror show that is the games forum.

Here's a clue: Our salaries double every month! ;)

On behalf of the "staff" here, I thank you for your kind words, ~Shard~ and others, as well as for your support of the site and participation in the forums. The moderators aren't volunteering their assistance for profit or glory, or even for the pleasant threads like this one, but because they too are Apple or Macintosh fans, are part of the community here, and believe it's worth the effort to help keep the forums in tip-top shape.

Even though only the moderators can push the magic buttons to edit, move, or remove threads and posts by other members, the efforts to keep the forums running smoothly rely on the cooperation of our regular members, as well as the help that many members provide by pointing out problems and making suggestions for improvements. So we return your thanks and applaud your efforts as well.

And, of course, none of us would be here without Fearless Leader arn, who orchestrates our work and is always planning yet another great new idea. We moderators salute arn too!

I wanna thank all of them except jsw 'cause he's smelly. You all do a fantastic job of keeping the spammers, the newbies, the tyrants, the offensive and ~Shard~ under control. :)

I agree with you ~Shard~ but I choose my appreciation in a more discrete way by continuing to contribute well in advance... :D :)

Yes, notice that what's-his-name isn't here thanking the moderators for their help. :D

No need for the sly attack on Abulia - Bousozoku. An ex-mod should know better ;)

Yes, I would like to add my thanks to the mods and gods. I have been on other forums and this one is by far the best one of them all.

This thanks would also include the numerous posters on this forum that help the newbies out with their patience and understanding.

:D

I actually made a deal with jsw that if a mod seat opened, I would be higly considered. :) So if a seat opens, I may be a new moderator here at MacRumors forums.

And still, great job to our current moderators. They keep our forum very clean.
