I still remember the 400 wasteland threads imacintel made when we were both regulars (and 6502's for that matter).😛

I dunno why, but it feels like I've been here half my life. I know this place in and out, and I wouldn't have the same GPA I have now if it weren't for all the frenchies on the forum.😀

Gee I wish I could remember how to speak Danish - I learnt it from a neighbour in Phoenix in America at the same time as I was basically learning how to speak. I was reasonably fluent (for a child's vocabulary) by the time we left the states to come back here - never had anyone to keep teaching me so it all went away pretty quickly.

I've been fluent in Bahasa/Malay as well but forgot most of it when we came back here from Singapore.

EDIT - And there's nothing wrong with the Danes, I know a certain Tasmanian Bar-fly who chose the Danes over the Aussies.

Well, I spaced it out for your benefit. If I were to write it completely phonetically it would be:

Garngisago.

The typical greeting here is:

Gdaymatehowreyagoinalrighteh? Said as one long word, the lips don't move for fear of letting the flies and the heat in and if you're really skilled (or a farmer) you can roll a cigarette from one side of your mouth to the other whilst saying it.

Since this is my thread, I feel the need to address this.

First of all, iGary has a lot of respect for his fellow MacRumors members - I've seen this demonstrated time and time again over the past several years. You've only been around since March, so I understand if you haven't been around long enough to appreciate this yet.

You need to lighten up and not take things so seriously - I mean, it's an Internet forum after all! If you can't handle things here you definitely won't be able to handle things in the real world. At some point you'll come to the realization that you can't be everyone's friend and not everyone will like you in life. My advice is don't get so emotional and take things so personally - just have some fun here and leave it at that. 😎

Lastly, this is an appreciation thread for the Mods, for all of us to say thanks to them. I'd appreciate it if you did not crap on my thread any further with this off-topic whining and nonsense. 😡
