Spontaneous Mod Appreciation Thread

I must confess, I am unknowledgeable, but not unappreciative, of the work which goes into maintaining this (or any) robust site. It seems to have a very nice balance of allowing all levels of discussion, intelligent management and most of all fun. That is why I decided to support it financially. However, I am not sure I support it much by my posts. I should have used the moniker "Thread_Killer". I have noticed I am the last post on many threads 
I am slowly beginning to identify members, but I miss most of the nuances exchanged between the 'inner-sanctum'. Regardless, there is a certain addiction to this site. I spend more time here than in all the others I used to frequent. I have received several emails wondering if I were OK. I replied, "yes, just enjoying Mac addiction".

Well said ~Shard~!Although I realize threads like this have been done before, I thought it was time to give our Mods and Gods another big thank you for all their hard work here on MacRumors. I thought it was fitting as well due to the recent appearance of our founder on CNBC today.

Becoming a mod takes cunning, skill and lots of patience. You just can't ram your way through the selection process. It also helps if you're a Canadian.

I love to hear words of wisdom from you, MJ. You must know how he can sometimes be jerky. He and eva01 have never been nice to mem since I was a newbie. I am a 65816 now, and I joined in March, and they still aren't nice to me. I have tried to help hm in his thread about the LCD, and he just doesn't have any respect for his fellow MR members. I think he takes his Demi God title too far and thinks he has all the power in the world. Now that my friend, is one ofworthy of one of his jerky eyerolls. :eyeroll:
