Ok this is confusing

In the animation tab there are sliders

Custom duration:
I have this set to on and the bar almost at the beginning
This makes the phone feel faster but when i move from tab to tab like in settings the speed is normal, only when i load apps does it go super fast

The second option is

Slow motion mode:
I dont know what this does i set it around the same position as the first option and i see no diffs. Moving from tab to tab is slow"normal"

Fakeclockup was doing both loading opening the apps fast and navigating thru tabs fast

What am i doing wrong

I also tested the slowmotion mode by slidin it all the way to the end and still notice no diff

did you remove fakeclockup first? im not sure about slow motion mode, maybe you found its first bug :p , it could just be broken right now. do you have twitter? maybe try sending him a message?

Yes i removed fakecloup

Why dont u install the tweak?

i'm weighing this one....i mean, it can replace 80% of my jb apps, but...do i need to do that? maybe after 4.3 is jb'd...

right now (for me, at 4.1) everything works. will see how this plays out, what people here say about it...

just one question for ppl who bought it: is this a mobile substrate add-on?

(did you have to respring springboard upon installation or not?)

it looks like it can save me some winterboard themes but if it's a MS add-on, i'd rather keep the few extra themes

When u change something in settings yiu have to respring

Yes its a mobilesubs plugin

The animation duration does not completely replace fakeclockup for some reason. I think this app has great potential and already replaced a few separate tweaks for now

btw ive been talking to the developer via twitter. he will register and post here tomorrow. heres what he had to say for now:

"ok I'll do it tomorrow.. (it's almost 12PM here) but post this: "animations and mods applies ONLY to the springboard, not inside apps!" at least for now..also tell to post every suggestion / problem and I'll look them tomorrow! Thank you"

I bought it and am playing with it now. Does replace some things I have on WinterBoard, which is a good thing.

Wish it had StatusBar "Hide the Lock." I still have to use CleanStatus for that.

Wish it could change the color of text on the StatusBar, not just the color of the bar itself. That may be wishful thinking, however.Got

Make sure to disable whatever you are going to replace BEFORE enabling it with this. I changed my slider settings while I still had iPhone 4 Tap turned on and had to use SBSettings to go to SafeMode and then turn off iPhone 4 Tap so I could open the lockscreen (my own fault).

So far, this seems stable.

This is a very cool tweak! I'd love to see it be able to replace lockscreen clock hide.

Another feature request is to hide the battery percentage icon but not the number. It can be done with cleanstatus so I'm hoping it could be added here too.

hes taking any and all suggestions for springtomize. you guys should throw him a message on twitter, or email him.

I predict this thread will have many pages because there will be a lot of questions. Been playing with the app and it has replaced quite a few apps. It's a one stop shop for springboard tweaks.

Just touched the surface but I've eliminated Fakeclockup, NoSpot, SleepFx or TvTube and Hide Page Dots (Winterboard). I'll report with more tomorrow because there is too much to do.

some people in here said it wasnt exactly fakeclockup as it wasnt changing the speed inside any apps. did you figure it out? what settings do you use

@Che Castro: any chance you can edit the first post and start making a list of apps/tweaks springtomize replaces? (see choice's post for a few)

I'm going through it now and it basically duplicates the functions of most other apps, both free and paid. I'm not sure it's that awesome of an app at the moment but I'm sure it will be improved.

My thoughts...
Panoramic wallpaper
Gridlock functionality
Easy to change widget control

For everything else I just ssh into the phone and replace it. I might not be the simple enough customer.

I may have to correct myself. It changes the speed of the springboard but I don't think it changes the apps itself. Still need to test it more but I was messing around with "Custom Duration" in "Animation".

But that's the point of the app. You can have one app that replaces a majority of your current apps and winterboard themes. It's really great for newbies who haven't purchased or downloaded anything.

I removed the tweak for now

They need to add the full fakeclockup & some thing like makeitmine

I would like to get rid of those 2

Those are the only tweaks i have

So i dont know the names of the tweaks this replaces

Yeah, that's what I think. So I put it on my iPad, I don't have anything tweaked on it since JBing 4.2.1. But of course it doesn't work on the iPad. I'm getting really use to the lack of attention the iPad gets. so this app isn't for me at this moment. Maybe later with iPad support and added function.

Bug?

Installed and set various fields. Now, when I go to an app it only shows on a quarter(top left quadrant) of the screen. Any help?

Thanks.

I thought I was the only one! I ended up doing a restore and re-jailbreak. You wouldn't happen to be on a Verizon iPhone would ya?

This is a fantastic idea for a tweak/app, but it didn't work very well for me. Maybe it's because I'm still using a 3GS, but as soon as I enabled ANYTHING in it and did a respring, it crashed the springboard and wouldn't stop crashing it, no matter how many times I did a respring. Unfortunately, I can't find anything in the description that says it's iPhone 4-only, but it just didn't work for me.

Also, I made sure to turn off any tweaks in WinterBoard before trying Springtomize, so I don't think it was that that was causing problems.

Once I got the app, I went through it to try and figure out what tweaks/apps it could replace and I made a list, at least of what I have. Others were asking for a list, so here's my contribution (assuming it works for you).

I'll try it again once I figure out what's going on. I'm just glad I didn't uninstall all these tweaks first! :D

Springtomize replaces (for me):

NoSpot - Eliminates the Spotlight search page
NoLockscreen - Pretty obvious what this does
No Slider - Eliminate the slider on the lockscreen (I'd forgotten I had this since I can use LockInfo to do the same thing)
No Folder Badges - Eliminates badges on folders...duh. :D
No Dock & Sb Text - Again, pretty obvious. Eliminates icon labels on springboard and dock icons.
Shrink
iPhone 4 No Page Dots
Five-Column Springboard
Five Icon Switcher - Puts 5 icons in the multitasking switcher instead of 4.
FakeClockUp
BackBoard - Saves your springboard setup.
Transparent Dock
Status Bar Battery Icon Hide (which I'd forgot I had since CleanStatus does this and more)
Transparent Status Bar

This doesn't sound good. I'm on a Verizon iPhone and I was about to give it a shot before I read this. Did you restore/rejailbreak because you still had this problem even after disabling the app?
