I just got the one-quarter size app issue after doing a reboot. Hoping for a quick update, as the dev says he's fixed the issue. In the meantime, I suggest you don't reboot.

OK, so I went to SBSettings/Power/SafeMode, then used Cydia to remove the app, resprung. Then I just went to Cydia again, reinstalled the app, and DIDN'T reboot. All apps usable and full-size again.

Hi, I just want to inform you that I've just submitted Springtomize 1.1 and it should be available in 1-2 days. Here's the full changelog:

Bug fixes:
• fixed quarter-screen apps bug
• improved performances: removed any springboard lag
• fixed crashes for various reasons
• hopefully fixed the always-wallpaper on lockscreen
• fixed a bug which was causing the device to block with a line on the screen if the lock button was pressed while the Old TV animation was running

New:
• added sound to the OldTv animation
• added more elements to hide from the status bar
• extended animations also inside apps

In the meantime, here's a quick fix for the quarter-screen apps bug (sorry again!): if you have filesystem access (usb, ssh) delete the file located under /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.filippobiga.springtomize.plist and respring your device. It's important not to enable the "Capabilities" section, because that's what is causing the problem. If you can't access your filesystem, use SBSettings to enter safe mode and delete that file with iFile; if you don't have iFile, just remove Springtomize (but I'd suggest you to install iFile after that).

I know there are still a few glitches to fix, but there were important crashes that needed to be fixed. If you have any problem or suggestion, post them here.

hey filippo, glad you stopped by (i linked you the thread on twitter ) . thanks for releasing a new version with bug fixes so quickly, thats some amazing support. had a friend with the quarter screen bug so thanks for posting a fix. which elements will you be adding to the status bar in the new version? are there any plans to add more in the future? and when you say you extended animations inside apps can that now completely replace the fakeclockup mod? i noticed there are also a few suggestions on your youtube video that you posted so just a heads up if you havent seen them already! thanks again, this will become a top app for sure!

edit: do you have any plans to add more custom docks from other themes?

Springtomize lite ?

I've tried both Springtomize and Springtomize Lite and I've been getting a weird problem which I haven't seen anybody else talk about (at least not explicitly). I installed Springtomize, I was fiddling with it, respring-ed a couple times, and everything was working fine until I changed it to a white status bar, respring-ed (I don't remember if I had changed anything else for that particular respring), and suddenly was stuck in a SafeMode loop. I uninstalled it, fixed the safe mode loop, then re-installed it thinking everything would be fine, but I've tried both the regular and lite versions multiple times and every time in install it and respring from Cydia it crashes springboard now. I'm using an iPad 4.2.1 redsn0w jb. I really want this to work, please help

i actually suggested something like this to the developer. i basically said to add a % to each slider in each section of the app (icons, animations, transparencies etc etc). it was also suggested a few times on his youtube video comments. he told me he would add it to the list. id imagine hell add it soon

The old TV animation lags when unlocking iphone. You can tell there is a second delay from the time you push the lock button till the unlock screen pops up. This seems to be happening when the Old tv Animation is activated at middle - slowest speed.

In the status bar I've added the possibility to hide the BT Battery, the padlock and the Time element for iOS < 4.0. I think I'll add only the alarm icon, since almost all elements are included. Oh and also a "custom carrier" feature maybe

For the percentages/number selections, I think I won't for these reasons:
1) a lot of users don't even understand percentages (trust me: I received some crazy emails these days like "should I press confirm or cancel in the respring alert?")
2) it doesn't look good if I put them on the left of the slider
3) all those sliders are there because I need to get float numbers from settings: If I let the user type percentages, I'd have to convert them.

Maybe I can do something like I did for colors (a list you can choose from) but only for animations? (Giving default values like: 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70% and so on..) But in this way you won't be able to fine tune the duration settings.

I bought this cool app to replace, Five-icon dock, fivel rows and FCSB but have a problem with icon spacing. The icons are way to close to each other - has anyone noticed this as well or is there a settings option I'm missing somewhere?

this is fixed in the 1.1

well for fakeclockup itll show a list of speeds ( x 1.0 , 1.1, 1.2 up to 1.6 , then 2.0, 2.5, 3.3, 5.0 then 10.0 ) . so at 1.0 thatd be normal speed, 2.0 would be double the normal speed, and so on and so forth. you get the idea .

new status bar options are great, im happy to see more in the future. while i agree with your reasons as to why you dont want to add percentages and numbers to sliders theres a ton of people who want everything to match and set perfectly. without a number / % its impossible to do so with a slider.

Do you mean the difference between "custom duration" & "slow motion mode"? Custom duration is just a setting under Animation.

Can you run Custom Duration and Slow Motion simultaneously? I like the animations but I would like for them to animate really quickly.
