Well mine was ordered through an authorized retailer (NextStar Comm) and who knows when I'll receive it. Also, they are unable to cancel the order so my hands are tied until it gets here. Needless to say, I'm pissed.

Just an update: I got a shipment notification on Friday, but no tracking details. Tracked it yesterday and it shows early delivery for today. I'm super excited! Ordered on 9/20 around 1300 EST. The wait is ALMOST over! Now I just gotta unload my 4s.

Okay, I have a question... Isn't buying a gold Sprint iPhone, kind of like polishing a turd? You can do it, but why??? I've never had good coverage on any Sprint network, and their customer service is pitiful from my experience...

Also, all the 4G / LTE speeds I see posted are horrendous...

Highest Sprint LTE speed I've seen on here has been 30 something. I myself get low to mid 20s.

Nothing to be proud of. When Verizon first launched their LTE network people were average 40-50 Mbs. Very few people are using Sprint's LTE network compared to their 3G network. Once it expands to more people you will see speeds of 1-3 Mbs which is better than unusable speeds but still nothing to be proud of.

Isn't a competition for me so debating phone companies is not worth my time. Not to mention I just read a few complaints from Verizon customers complaining about their LTE speeds being slowed and that's nothing to be proud of.

No Sprint 5S 32GB received

Just listened to the voicemail I got from Sprint today again -- it said Sprint online sales has not received any inventory for the gold 5S 32GB, but they are working "closely" with the supplier [Apple] and expect it to be resolved in the next 3 - 4 weeks.

I can't hide being bummed and disappointed about this, but I have to admit, it feels good to have Sprint at least shed some light on how many units they received for that specific model (none!!) and acknowledge how long some of us have been waiting.

So.... I guess I can stop checking the order status page!!

Having a gold sprint iphone or any color for that matter is like having a Ferrari in a school zone. Waste of fine machinery.

I really don't understand why anytime someone says Sprint it turns into this! I'm not in competition with another cell phone provider so I don't care.

I have an unlocked iPhone and I'm using it on Sprint... I get. 30 down and 10 up.. It's useable... That's all that matters

I'm a sprint customer right now. I'm allowed to say this. They have been awful since I got my 4s and(although they have promised repeatedly) the service never has gotten any better. I'm convinced at this point that it never will. Sprint Lies. Counting the days til my verizon 5s arrives so I can call sprint for one last credit and then cancel the next day.

I'm not going to disagree with that. Back in August I was ready to switch. The only thing that made me stay was LTE went live in my area. Had it not I would be with Verizon right now. I have been with them for 9 years so I understand the frustration.

An eBay listing went up today with a buy it now of $650, and you bet your sweet a** I bought it. Should have it by the end of the week! I've been really missing the fingerprint scanner since I switched to the Note 3

Yea I've been with them for 12 yrs. LTE went live 10 mins from my house but I rarely have need to go that way. Unlimited would have been nice, but alas.

I ordered a 16gb from Apple.com. It's up and running -- looks great! Got a lot of attention today around school.

I received my gold 5s yesterday and I LOVE IT! I'm so glad I didn't "settle" for one of the other colors as gold was my first choice. It was DEFINITELY worth the wait and despite me ordering on launch day and just having received it, I am STILL the first one to have it (at least in my personal/professional circle). :p

Wooo finally got my shipping email from Sprint! Ordered a 32GB gold 5S at about 12:08 PDT on 9/20 from sprint.com. They just barely beat their 4-6 week estimate (even though the first estimate was shorter).

Kudos to the Sprint team for keeping us updated with realistic timelines and dealing with a severely constrained product. Given the short supply, it's hard to see what they could have done differently.
