This is true. I'm just ridiculously worried bc (1) new account and (2) I live on the West Coast. Even though logically I know it's still possible to receive this phone, I'm still Miss Panic!
Just got my tracking number. No email, I used the oy # on Sprint's website. (16 GB Black, ordered at 3am central time)
I thought I was the only one left that ordered relatively early and didn't get any tracking info.
I've had the Fair and Flexible plan for years! 3 phones with unlimited data and texting for only $83 total per month after taxes. Such a great deal. I had credits and discounts, etc. I'm finally giving it up so me and my sons can join the 21st century with iphones. Now with my work discount I'll pay $158 + taxes. The touch Pro 2 freezes so bad every 2 months and a battery pull doesn't fix it. Contacts cant be restored either. All my contacts are typed on a paper I keep in my wallet! I got $200 in credits to upgrade and extend my contract. They wouldn't budge on waiving the activation fees. I tried 3 times. Sorry for the long threadjack.
That's what I was suspecting. I'm in Cleveland, which isn't close, but isn't far enough to have to fly over. ~6 hour drive.

I received my tracking number. Ordered about 4:30am EST. Black 16GB phone. With SERO Plan. It says 2nd day Air but delivery tomorrow. Oragin Scan says, Louisville, KY, United States 09/20/2012 9:18 A.M. How can they send it 2nd day Air shipping started today and get it to me by tomorrow? Should't it say over night air if it originated today for tomorrow delivery?

Nope and this wouldn't be the first time Sprint wasn't true with their delivery estimates a couple of years ago they were 4 days late.

Ditto on the California front. It says it is sent for delivery tomorrow but I don't see a time estimate.
For those of you who have your tracking number; did Sprint credit you back? Mine was about $300 and it still says they took $300 twice out of my account. I heard they credit it back leaving only the amount the phone actually was.

I ordered a 32gb black at 6:30am on the 14th and haven't gotten a tracking number yet. If I look it up with the d order number it says it has shipped but doesn't list a tracking number, if I track with the order number that begins with oy it still has the thank you for ordering message and no tracking number.
Just to make everyone that still don't have a tracking feel better.

Los Angeles. Not a new account. Ordered at 630 AM (after cancelling my original Apple Order) on 9/14. I think the size of the iPhone you ordered may have something to do with how they're shipping. Black 64GB ordered here.
The only thing, sprint told me when I called was that these are all shipping from Apple direct.

I ordered a 16GB White? Hopefully I'll have a tracking number by 5PM PST. If not, I'm just I'll be upset, bc I made the deadline. I even stayed up until 5AM PST to place it off hold to do the credit verification, and that was seven hours before the cut off time.
