I preordered a custom otterbox with monogram (very girly :p) but it won't ship until at least a week from now. So naked for a week.

How sick is this? Do we live in the 21st century or what?

My new phone is on a Boeing 757-200 approaching Salt Lake International Airport form the South at 133kts currently at flight level 45. It's a dozen or so minutes late and the nose is pointing slightly into the wind which is from the west. This is beyond fun!

Shipped by US POSTAL SERVICE, Due in 2-5 days??

Ok, so I just checked my pre-order on the sprint web page and it now says:

Your order has been shipped. Click on the shipping tracking number to track the progress of your order. Please allow 2-5 days for delivery. If you have questions, please call 866-789-8292 between 9:00 a.m. EST to 6:00 p.m. EST Monday to Friday. Please note, it may take up to 24 hours for your tracking number to be active.

There is a tracking number for USPS which leads to a page which shows "File or Page Requested Not Found"

You have got to be kidding me. I can't believe that sprint would ship the iphone 5 though the postal service!! I am in Kansas City by the way.

Hmmm 133kts is pretty slow at this altitude. That might be close to stall speed for this aircraft depending on the cargo weight

My phone has LANDED!!!

It actually landed in the time it took me to write my last post (and answer one annoying work phone call). :)

3 iphones are coming tomorrow. The SGP screen protectors came today along with one of the cheap cases.

The other cases I ordered on the 19th have been stuck in New York for 6 days! Argh. I live in California. Looks like 2 of the iphones will be living in socks.

Lol true. Actually I don't know what altitude SLC is at. Plane might have been on final @ 4500ft

Actually you're right. Didn't occur to me that the altitude means "altitude" not distance from the ground. :D Yea, SLC is about 4,500 feet up. I should have remembered that, considering my house is almost exactly a mile high.

Me = stupid.

From looking at my tracking page on UPS it doesn't specify if the package requires a signature when delivered. Does anyone know? I'm not going to be home and I don't want them taking it back two cities over to their hub. I Can't even find the option on my my choice account to release it without a signature but I don't even know if one is needed.

Always needs a signature.
