Just received my tracking# from Sprint. New Customer, Ordered 12.30 EST on 14th, NYC. They shipped it with USPS

This is my first iphone. Should I activate it from the iphone itself using the tutorial on sprint.com?

Or should I plug it into my computer and do it through my itunes account I used with an old ipod touch? Sorry I'm a rookie.

Always needs a signature.

with Sprint orders, there isn't a requirement. It's up to the person delivering it.

Instructions will be in the package to finalize activation. You pretty much don't need a PC, only a wi-fi connection to connect to Apples servers to activate.

So I'm currently on the phone with sprint and even tho I got the 32gb witch they ran out of stock on the 17 I ordered mine on the 14 they just told me it will take 2 weeks.??? Wth.?!?!? Help.???

too funny. literally the first order I made, made and billed in the early morning hours of the 14th, and the only one for which I received an email order confirmation, is the only one out of four orders over 60 hours (early hours 14th - late hours 16th), that has no tracking and sprint support says they may not be able to fulfill for "3 weeks". all the phones are 32gb.

Sprint, just when you think they are less expensive because they are a better deal, endlessly proves year after year they are less expensive because they are the keystone cops of the mobile world.
