Which Sprint iPhone are you preordering this year?

Just curious if everyone is getting coverage/speed? The 6s and 6s+ have CA (carrier aggregation) which means the phone picks the best channels from Band 25 (1900mhz), Band 26 (800mhz) and Band 41 (2.5Ghz) for operation.
I believe Sprint only does carrier aggregation on band 41, though.
 
Yeahh glad to know that wasn't just me. But to be fair they handled it way better and more professional at least with me then I was used to.

I had to chat lol 4pm-6:30 but I have fun with them unlike others who get vulgar.

Got home from dinner and getting "We're sorry. We cannot complete your activation. Please click the chat icon on the top right of the page or make an appointment at a store near you." Been on "hold" with chat support (it's within their hours of operation still) for about 15 mins. Phone support has gone home; no idea why after such a botched day they let everyone go home at normal time.

Complete waste of a day of excitement. Worst launch day ever. Guess I'll be heading into a store tomorrow morning. Really pissed about this one.

My delivery to the store was botched. I was supposed to get it today but now UPS tracking is quoting the 29th. I don't know how 2 day air shipped on the 24th goes to UPS ground speeds. UPS was a huge fail today
 
Had no problem early this morning activating the new phone on sprints website.

On another note, though......

I was packaging my old iphone 6 to be returned to sprint in the buyback kit I received and noticed the name on the return label was incorrect. WHOA!!


It was a for a lady in Michigan. I am in Florida...

I would have sent my pristine iphone 6 back and not received any credit for it!!!!!


Now I have to try to get a hold of sprint to send a correct buyback kit for my phone..

Check your buyback kit return labels if your are trading your old phones in!!! I wonder how many just slap the label on the package and let UPS pick it up without looking at the label..

I think they are more concerned about the MEID of the phone and that's how they'll give you credit, rather than the shipping label. Unfortunate, and another mistake that coincides with this release for them, but I don't think it matters as much as you do.
 
I was on "hold" with chat support for about 30 minutes last night before finally getting to someone. Got two of my three phones activated and have another one to do today.

Moved data for both of them and got a chance to play around with the new features. I think so far, the new app switcher and the body changes (weight & more textured back) are my favorite. I had Hey Siri on my 6+ (jailbroken) and I still have to get used to 3D Touch. Live photos are cool too, but I only got to test with my tv, lol.

I think I'm gonna go case-less with this one. None of my phones except the 6+ had a case. And that was because it handled like a fish out of water.
 
finally was able to get my new phone had a few issues and ended up having to come back to the apple store 4 times but I finally have my phone glad I cancelled my pre order I love pink but that color was too much for me maybe next year though =)

I believe you are right. Which, if I had a 6s+ wouldn't make any difference anyway.

Band 41 is very meager here in Phoenix. I've only seen it once and it's certainly not around where I work or live.

I'll be speaking to T-Mobile today just to get information. I've had about all I can take of Sprint in Phoenix.

I ordered my in-store and it's being delivered to the store, i don't even have an estimate arrival! no tracking! they just said "they'll me when it gets in" whenever that may be ;-; i ordered mine on the 13th. i'm so upset! but idk what else i can do.

So do the Sprint stores have any reason to lie about their inventory? I called this morning asking if they have the 6s Plus in stock and they said "no" Just 10 minutes ago a friend of mine walked into the same store and walked out with the 6s Plus. He didn't PreOrder either. I'm thinking about driving down there but don't want to waste a trip.
 
I honestly think they just lie over the phone sometimes. Last year they told me they had the plus, I went in and they didn't have it, tried to sell me a regular. This year the opposite, but I called just to see, as I ordered my phone online so I didn't haven't to play with the people in store. They probably get bonuses too for selling a certain amount. I've also been in store when they answer and seen them flat out lie because they're busy and it's almost break or closing time.

I'd drive up there and call from the parking lot, then go right in after and see if they have it, then ask them why the lies. Lol. If they're lying of course.

Does Sprints voice quality sound kind of flat and robotic to anyone else? Perhaps I was just spoiled with T-Mobiles, who as I understand it has the best in the industry.

I think this is particularly an issue with non corporate stores. I think the corporate stores are much better.

Same thing happened to me actually. I've come to expect these things at this point.

I'm on the same boat with you!!! Just talked to a Sprint rep and he says that oct 5th sounds reasonable. Give or take... i pre ordered my phone on the 16th.. iPhone 6s plus rose gold.. and I'm still waiting!!!!!

I also would assume the at the phone itself would be scanned for the return.

After being on the phone with sprint they could not confirm that. They are sending me the correct return kit.

Rather not take a chance on not getting my $385 credit for my old 16gb iphone 6
