I think what he was trying to tell you was that while your situations is a great tragedy that we all like to hear about, at some point you have to realize there's nothing anyone here can do to help you. So constantly posting about it won't get you anywhere unfortunately and it is kinda annoying.

:)

So Sprint finally updated my tracking number on their site.

Lol misspelled a word.

All 5 of mine went from "There's a shiny new iPhone waiting..." with only 3 having tracking numbers, to "Your order has been submitted and requires manual processing." which I read does not affect shipping times. And now all 5 have (outdated) tracking numbers. :)

mine says "your order is processing" but I have a tracking number that just says label created. anyone else in the same boat? I'm calling them first thing tomorrow if it doesn't update.

Maybe this is negative thinking but I assume if we don't get any update at all within the next 12 hours, they probably wont come Friday or Saturday

Hi all, new to this (and iPhone). Anywho, I ordered with Sprint at around 10am eastern time 10/7/2011. I got my UPS tracking number with the label made the 10th, but still no updates. Considering it is now Thursday I am concerned I will not get it on Friday now. But who knows. I am new to this just throwing in my $0.02.

you're in the same boat with the majority here. most of us are waiting for UPS to start reflecting origin scans.

Is this normal? I see Verizon is getting their's out...but my friend (who has iPhone 4 on AT&T) went to upgrade on the 7th on AT&T, was told he would get his the 14th, and today tell him its backordered and he won't get it for a few weeks. Unreal their customer service is horrific.

I guess this is the main reason the Sprint order page/confirmation page/whatever page said that tracking info might not be updated until the 14th so us impatient iPhone loving little kids wouldn't inundate them with phone calls. :)

I don't see a reason as to why we wouldn't get them. Think about the sheer number of phones Sprint has to ship out all across the US in 2 days. This isn't their first rodeo (although it's a pretty big one) so I'm guessing they planned the logistics for this way in advance.

Heck, Verizon probably had way more preorders and they are getting their phones early. I'm guessing Sprint just wants to have this go as smoothly as possible.

i'm thinking the majority of preorders through sprint.com will have the phones originating from the Kentucky hub, hence the generation of the UPS labels but little movement since then. i'm assuming we will see a flood of movement from the sprint orders either late tonight or tomorrow morning as the orders actually ship.

makes sense. I wouldn't bother them with calls, until Saturday passed. I hope they give us something though. Those days at work are getting long waiting for it. haha:apple:

I wish I was at work. At least then the days would go by faster. I've been at home almost the whole week and weeks haven't been this slow since I was a kid and was waiting for December 25th. GAH! I'm pathetic!

I checked ups on my phone at work about 60 times today, so it's not much different.

and yes its dragging.........ahhhhhh

I once (briefly) had a 3gs, but at&t was horrible and quickly left. Phone was amazing though. Cant wait to have it on a good network yess

I just got an email alert from UPS My Choice with my tracking # that says it will be delivered tomorrow with a scheduled date of 10/14. The ups site still shows "ready for UPS"... so I think things are moving along but the tracking info is not current.
