Sprint iPhone Pre-Order Status Thread

I'm so anxious to come back to these threads and see someone say "My UPS tracking info has been updated!! My delivery date is XXX" or to actually check my tracking number and do it myself.
This was the same tension I was getting when I didn't get a tracking number. Now that I've had a tracking number, I'm dying for the UPS page to update with at least an origin scan!
I'm gonna need a valium soon. lol

LOL ne too, what I was thinking maybe is the sprint got their phones in today and they shipping tomorrow from the store in the cities or Kansas , just a thought
That really sucks dude. Ive had a tracking number since sunday, just no update. Hopefully you get them friday like the rest of us
Yea I just had to take a Xanax and It's not working as well as usual, I am forcing myself to give up on this before i force myself into a Coronary....
Dumb question here (again)
So i have had a tracking number since sunday and no update. Ordered on the 7th around 2:15 am..within the first 2 hours. Could my phone be in louisville sitting there and ups just hasnt scanned it yet? Or maybe its here in Utah already (doubt that).

The tracking status won't update until there is movement within UPS. I bet they're all sitting in Louisville right now.
I'll be up late studying and knowing me, I'll be checking UPS.com periodically. If I don't get an update, I'd sure hope to have one when I wake up the next morning. lol
And if I don't, what am I gonna do but just get even more antsy.

Agreed, I would really like it to get moving sometime soon though. Its going to need to be at my local dist. center by this time tomorrow evening so that it can go out for delivery Friday morning. iShip is still trying to tell me it will be delivered tomorrow, but that is getting closer to impossible with every passing minute. Friday is fine, I mean it is launch day after all...but like others, the anxiety is getting thick. (My medication of choice is Klonopin).

Okay so I ordered 16gb white 4s on the 14th at 3am pacific time. I ordered from apple.com. Up until yesterday evening my order was preparing for shipment. last night I did the ups trick and saw my iPhones shipping status. At the time my order finally said shipped last night, I tracked the package on ups and even though it's still in china currently I am seeing lots of movement and scanning. Hope this helps.... Have any of you done the ups tracking trick? If sprint or apple havnt given you tracking info there is a loop hole

"Sitting, sitting, sitting, sitting"?
Because that's what it has been doing while everyone else has watched his/her phone circumnavigate the globe, ours have been sitting in a warehouse. So there is no play by play to give.
That being said, as I posted yesterday (I think, I've lost track of day/time in this waiting game), part of me wishes I had ordered through Apple for the simple fact of the fun of watching it. At the end of the day however, traveling that far, through that many hands, this close to delivery would be a bit concerning.
Just my cent and a half worth...
I believe the reason we aren't seeing any tracking updates is because since the labels have been created, the phones have been loaded in a trailer at the warehouse awaiting UPS to pick them up. I work for FedEx Freight, I know the process for these events....just my opinion. Hopefully the trailers are picked up tonight.

If you have not received a tracking number try this. This may give you peice of mind...
1st go to ups.com
2nd go to tracking
3rd look for track by reference
4th select package, under reference type your phone number(it could be under any number on your account so be prepared to try them all), Leave dates at their default, Do not select shipper account and do not type in the account box, Select your country and put in your BILLiNg zip code.
Hopefully this works for you....

This "trick" is useless. Shows nothing
I am throwing this out here every once in a while just to help people feel a little better. My order is still saying that it was delayed, i ordered minutes after the sprint site went live, and that more information was required and they are working on that.Congrats. I can imagine the relief.
The "trick" is not useless it has worked for lots of people including myself. Before apple sent me the confirmation this gave me piece of mind. If it isn't working for you, you may be doing something wrong, or yours may not be shipping through ups. Keep trying... You can also make sure your inputting your number with no dashes. Either way I posted with hope to help a few people. So no attitude needed if it didn't help you. Like I said before good luck everyone!
That would suck, if that were to happen. I have my tracking number since monday night and it still hasn't updated. I ordered my iPhones @ 6am EST.
+1 Just talked to sprint to ask them about this and they tried telling me that they would not ship out until the 14th or 15th. I told her that was not the point of the preorder, if i had known this I would have taken friday off of work and waited in line. Then she changed her game that it is guaranteed to be delivered by friday or saturday. I let her know that ups does not deliver on saturday and she said that they would be making an acception because it is the iphone. I dont know what to believe anymore but they truly are starting to pi$$ me off with no updates. Its almost like I gave them the money and they will send it out with little to no information when they feel like it. No wonder apple took so long to make a partnership with this company. I have a business account and way too much invested in phones and lines for me to change providers right now, but it may not be far down the line.
As i was told on the phone, as well as the email confirmation that I would receive it on the 14th or 15th, not shipping those days. Guess we will see shortly
