WOW, FML, I was so excited that the site worked, I think I ordered the wrong color...


Well it looks like the site is back down again...
 
Yeah, so Sprint's website is getting mauled right now and I can't even get into my account settings to change my plan... which I need to do before Apple will let me preorder.

I'll give Sprint the benefit of the doubt since this is the iPhone launch on their service, but this had better not be a harbinger of what to expect from their network and the new influx of users...
Agreed, what account changes/plan changes are you making that will allow you to order?
 
So I give them my credit card number and everything. I think I'm in the clear... but wait! To complete your order please call the Sprint Web Sales Support Team... :mad:
 
got to the payment step, and it says I need to call to complete the order, this sucks!
 
I just finished my order on sprint.com, once the site started working everything went very quick and smooth. I upgraded both of my lines and the site automatically recognized that I was upgrading both lines when I added two diff phones to the cart. Good luck everyone!
 
I was finally able to order the 4S. I printed the confirmation and got an email, too.

I would like to order another one for my other account, but noticed the page is down again.
 
Well, think I'm all set. Got an order confirmation number and email and everything. Took awhile as I had to get three upgrades into the cart, and the site seems to have gone back down just after I finished. :p

To everyone else who got their order in, what does your Order Status say when you go to the /myorder site?
 
i just kept refreshing sprint for over an hour straight until it worked, once it did, it was so smooth, got my wife the 16GB in black and me the 32GB in black. now to wake up for work in 2 hours.
 
sprint, size matters!

ok so my wife just pre-ordered hers on sprint.com through her acct, got it for "the low" woot woot:D:D. my question is: does sprint offer the iphone in 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB? she got the 8GB but we did not see an option for any other size...:confused:

She ordered the iPhone 4, not 4s.

You got the 4 not the 4S if you got the 8gb. Only the 4 comes in that size.

Hey I didn't get an email confirmation for my last order. I wonder if it went through. I got charged 2 times, so I assume the last order went through, even though I didn't get an email.
 
FUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDDGGGGGEEEE:(:(:(:(, ok not to panic...:eek::eek::eek: cant seem to find anywhere in the confirm email or the website where to change/cancel the order. hhhmmm, will have to call sprint first thing in the am to get that corrected.

Finally!

...Finally got through on Sprint's website... tried using Firefox first, refreshing every minute, then switched to Google Chrome, and got on.... like every one says, once you get on the website, everything went pretty fast and smooth (unlike the apple website), and I received the confirmation order # :D

Just keep trying or go to sleep and try again early in the morning... that was just crazy lol
 
Don't give up ya'll! After almost two hours of hitting command R I got in! Once you get in the rest of the process goes soooo smoothly. Not a single bump in the road. Trouble's just getting the site to load!

Is this what your order status says as well?

No, mine says "Your order requires some validations in order to complete processing. To expedite processing, please call 866-456-0575 between 8:00 a.m. EST to 11:00 p.m. EST Monday to Friday or 9:00 a.m. EST to 9:00 p.m. EST on Saturdays and Sundays."

Trying to see if everyone's say that because it's a preorder or they're confirming availability or something or if I really need to call. I seem to remember this happening with some Sprint phones in the past and it all going through on it's own fine, but I can't remember for sure because it's been a couple years.
