Sprint's 'iPhone Forever' Program Ensures Customers Always Have the Newest iPhone

I just took advantage of the iPhone forever offer... We have four phones on ATT at 277 a month with only 20gb... Now we each get new iPhones now and Sprint pays off our att phones. We ordered 3 6+ and one 6. When the new phones come out in September we just go in and get em... With trade in the 15 per line access fee is waived for the life of the account. So we are now unl text and talk 40gb shared data for 192 before tax! Sounds like a good deal to me.
New phones all the time for cheaper that att with old phones. We have has sprint in the past and they are great in our area
central Ohio. We also had good luck on vacation so I'm not too sure where some of the complaints come from.

I should have been more descriptive. I am currently on grandfathered "unlimited" plan with 2 iphones. I get throttled starting at 5GB which is easy to achieve. I'm paying $187 for 2 iphones on this plan.

Unfortunately then you're screwed until better plans or promos rollout.

You would've had to of switched last year or early this year 3 separate times.

The Upside very small plan savings and no throttle

The downside not unlimited unless you're willing to pay for whatever used in excess of plan amount.

Though I'd imagine and hope 30GB would be enough for 2 shared users

Let's see if I get this straight...Sprint offers lease only, T-Mobile offers lease and financing, ATT offers financing and limited 2 year contracts and VZW offers financing only? Of course you can buy a smartphone outright on all carriers.

Unfortunately as I said it's all timing based. The promo I'm on probably wouldn't of saved you much either but would have saved you both over the "old non promo" and far better than new/current structure with the added benefit of 2X the data no extra cost no throttle and Rollover which some AT&T contacts I have say they are looking into more than 1 cycle of Rollover



If you're smart avoid Sprint like the plague. AT&T is worth it. See what you can do and maybe just bide your time and cross your fingers for Promo Pricing/Plans.


Their new trend seems to be Promo Plans around or shortly after iPhone releases or other device releases that are expected big sellers

Just a quick update. Not the biggest deal or value but right now AT&T started a promo already


15GB For the Price of 10GB on Mobile Share value looks like with 2 devices it would be around what you're paying now maybe a slight bit more after taxes but you'd be rid of the throttling and pick up a few new features/plan benefits


Unfortunately if/when you decide to upgrade to new iPhones it would of course be more if you decide on payment plans for the devices

i feel i need to post this as a public service.

sprint says with their plan they can save you $20 over T-mobile. i can troll here about T-mobile's uncarrier movies that you will not get with sprint. like music freedom and mexico and canada coverage. I'm not affiliated with any company

but i feel the most important thing i wish to warn about is with the $60 unlimited plan, you do not get Mobile Hotspot whatsoever. that is sprint's dirty secret about this plan. if you want a reasonable amount like 2 gb of mobile hotspot, you have to pay $20 extra. and guess what. now sprint is charging the same exact price T-mobile charges for 7 gb of mobile hotspot on their unlimited plan.

as a matter of fact if you want the $60 unlimited plan and 6 gb of mobile hotspot, your sprint bill would be $110

i think people who wish to consider sprint, should be warned.

Guess my area is different here Sprint offers the best service and I love the new international plans. Sorry but I've never had bad experience with them. In my area AT&T is the worst service provider unless in a town you have no service.

Agreed and I may be playing favorites too but of the 4X ( 5 if you count Cingular ) I been with AT&T but left I always came back for a reason.

AT&T by far has always given me as well as friends,family, acquaintances, business associates, co workers etc whom I've known to have AT&T the best experiences of other carriers not to say ATT doesn't have problems

( no carriers are perfect there will seemingly always be ups and downs to ANY Carrier )

But my bias or favoritism is based only being most satisfied and certainly far more satisfied than most of the other "big names" and several small names in Wireless/Mobile

Proving that Sprint supports WiFi callings is as easy as going to their FAQ about WiFi calling or their "how to turn on WiFi calling on the 6+" section. I can tell you I've used it before, but that's as circumstantial as your nonexistent evidence. Then again, it's obvious from one of these that you just hate Sprint

We're in a topic about unlimited data, something you can't get anymore from Verizon or AT&T. So, yes, AT&T might do rollover and Sprint doesn't. Who cares? I can use 12gb this month, and then burn through 30 next month. You also list a couple things twice, so ... yeah, there's that.

AT&T and Verizon are terrible in my area and Sprint is great. I agree nationwide those 2 may be better but for cell service you have to go with which company works best for you. I have been a long time Sprint customer and for me it's great I download at 30mbps in my area and very seldom drop. The wifi calling works great for me also and since I travel to other countries I can't beat the new free international plans. Hard for me to beat the price and unlimited everything here in my area. Also i traveled all other the western and northeastern US in the last year and service was decent everywhere I went. My wife had AT&T and no service in the west where I did have it. My point is just because it doesn't work for you in your area doesn't mean others don't have excellent service.
