Are these colors just a new marketish way to name the same? I always had space black stainless steel watches and all my bands match that color. I would be very disappointed if I get the series 6 graphite and the color is not the same.
It looks identical, so it’s really confusing.
Looks like the same. I hope so
The SSSB was virtually scratch proof because of the DLC coating. Does the Graphite Grey have the DLC coating as well?

I’ve ordered on the basis the bands will be ok although I’m sure there will be a subtle difference in colour otherwise they would keep the name as they have for the Hermes.

I have read the graphite has a blue hue to it.
i hope so .... sounds good ... I was very tempted by the new blue Aluminium but not practical for me. My S5 SBSS has been the perfect Watch for every scenario for me.
I believe it’s a vapor deposition like the gold color, so it is not scratch proof. The SSSB was virtually scratch proof because of the DLC coating. Does the Graphite Grey have the DLC coating as well?
From the press release:
. Stainless steel models are now available in graphite — a rich gray-black hue with a striking high-shine finish — and an updated classic yellow gold color.
Gray-black hue, not gray-blue. So quite similar to the space black (actually I always thought that the space black is a kind of dark grey)
