Was charged this morning at 8:30am and it is now 6:30 pm. Looks like I won't be receiving it tomorrow since my status is still processing!

NYC - placed my order at :02 and got my email at :03, no charges today, I'm happy for everyone who's getting their watches tomorrow and I've tried to be open minded and patient thus far but I have to say, this is the one time/product launch from Apple that has genuinely gotten me pissed off. I pre-ordered the second the store went up, and now over a month later I still don't have my watch and its shipping out in random dribbles to people today but I'm sitting here still with no movement. Unbelievably frustrating... #

How were you notified of the declined charge? I'm a :03 order with Wells Fargo. No movement and feeling a little paranoid.
 
I saw a number of people on this thread discussing watch stands and mentioned the Nomad. I just ordered the one from Griffin and you may want to take a look at it. Why I went with it? It is designed to charge both your iPhone and watch at the same time. Less clutter on your night stand. Especially as I use my iPhone as an alarm clock so it is on all night.

Since I had used Apple Pay via the Apple Store app, I got a notification about it via Apple Pay on my phone, around 7am EDT. Didn't notice it until I woke up around 9:30. Ended up having to call Wells Fargo and yell at them for being stupid. Went on the Apple Store website and it still wouldn't work trying to reauth via the Apple Pay device account number so I had to manually put in the actual CC number and it authed properly. Wells Fargo didn't call me or text me at all. I have no idea what they did but they really dropped the ball.

Huh? Scratch proof means that it cannot possibly be scratched. DLC if done well is very durable but certainly not scratch proof (impossible to scratch) period. You guys can show that one video with the guy trying to scratch DLC coated watch parts all you want. The fact remains, it can be scratched. I guarantee you by the end the week there will be people squealing about how they managed to scratch theirs already.

Ok, not 100% impervious to scratches. If you have something of diamond calibre hardness, it will scratch it.

Ditto for the Sapphire crystal covering the face.

But, both are virtually impervious to scratches - unlike the regular SS watches (which are quite soft).

wow that's got to be really irritating. Someone probably charged you before realizing your watch wasn't on hand, more sloppy launch work.

Thanks for the info. I also used Apple Pay so I'm glad to know I'll get a notification if this happens.

Have you had charges declined by Wells Fargo before? They've been (perhaps overly) lax with me. Abnormal expenditures, travel, and I've never had a charge declined. I figured the Apple Watch wouldn't be a problem, but now I'm concerned.

I'm really happy that you have jumped forward, but very confused.

My order was placed at 8:01, got May 12 - 26 window, still processing... In UK, and it really feels like us Brits got the raw end of the deal this time. Hopefully will ship tomorrow.

It's not just you guys. We've seen a lot of people with 02's still not shipping.

They're trying to get these processed in order - so, what you'll see is all of the may "wave" will be processed over the next day or so. Hopefully they're through everyone by the end of the week, so if you don't have them this week, at least you can look forward to receiving them next.

This is the first time I've had a charge outright declined with no advance notice for fraud protection. Usually they call me and then let the charge go through instead of declining immediately.

Hopefully you get yours soon too! Looks like there were a ton of flights coming in today so hopefully we'll both get ours by the end of the week.

I'm also in NYC. Placed the order at :02, received e-mail confirmation at :02. Was charged this morning, prepared for shipment, then shipped. It's currently in OH and arriving tomorrow by 3:00PM EST. I don't think its necessarily random dribbles, may have just missed today's cut and you will be in tomorrow's.
 
I just realized I have an eye dr appointment early Friday morning, so now I'm absolutely certain that this means I'll get my order processed overnight and it'll be shipped out tomorrow for Friday delivery. That's how the universe works, right? I work from home every day of the week, but I have to be away for a couple hours Friday so that is definitely when my watch will try to deliver.

The universe is a bastard.
