They had none to try on at the Apple Store so I really hope I am not disappointed after all this wait.

weird when I click UPS show all flights all I saw was 3 leaving from Newark back to Louisville. Those going into Newark did not show up. oh well. Cool, hopefully these are the rest of them.

Download flightaware app. It's free. The flights go from shenzhen China-> anchorage Alaska(clears customs)-> Louisville Kentucky(ups eastern hub)-> Newark Nj

Ordered both before and after you with email confirms at xx:06:35 and xx:09:46 (LA, CA). Still no activity here.

I originally had the earlier May delivery window when I selected the first SSSB 42, but when I clicked to place the order the confirmation page had switched to June. I definitely placed the order on the App at 12:05, so I think the window for the first batch closed barely after the 12:05 mark.

Apple Store wasn't available with either browser or iOS app until about 12:04am on the 10th. Had multiple devices on both Time Warner and AT&T's networks. I think certain providers/regions had a lag in getting the store refreshed on the preorder day.

If they have a check mark they have already been completed only look at the ones with the calendar icon. I only see three but I do see one more flight coming from Alaska to Kentucky arriving at 9:27 am
 
I didn't get applecare with my order. My watch is now en route for delivery later today. Do I have to take it in to a store to add on applecare now?

Processing still. I know I have a window time, logically there is still until the 26th but emotionally I cannot help but really feel Apple screwed up big time on releasing a product that didn't seem to physically exist until nearly a month after launch day. Even just an email from them explaining why in a high level why it has taken so long would have been nice

Will forget all this once it has arrived no doubt but it just doesn't feel like something that should have happened

Same here. Same as you email confirmed at XX:05:27. Clicked said may, finalized said June. No charges yet. Hopefully all that will change with the three flights landing in Newark.

I feel for everyone who is still waiting...I know how it feels, I just got my 42mm w Link band yesterday, finally, but the "this wouldn't happen if Steve Jobs was around" stuff is horses**t. So Steve would have prevented another company from having production issues with a component of the watch? I love these threads, but some of the idiocy that gets spewed is infuriating. Think before you speak.

I'm in the same boat as yourself I'm looking at it as anytime in the next 12 days although like yourself feel a little hard done by, hey clearly had none of the ready for launch or anywhere near that 5 week tomorrow I will have placed the order WOW!!! Private message me when you get movement and I shall do the same if I get movement

I've seen that price for a SS LB (silver not black) on Craigslist. One listing included a BSB as well as the link, the other did not. Seems a bit steep for a $1000-$1050 item.
 
What exactly is the point of Apple care anyways?

I didn't order it with mine but my watch hasn't been charged yet so I can still add it

It covers accidental damage and also extends the warranty an additional year.
