Just a heads up for those speculating about AppleCare showing up and nothing else on June/July orders. Between April 20th and yesterday when mine shipped, the Applecare showed up as a pending charge 3 times. And disappeared a few days later each time, seemingly like they were just making sure the account was still active. To keep expectation is check, I wouldn't assuming anything until I saw a pending charge for the full amount of the watch.

Yay....

Looking forward to a multitude of SB Link pics when they arrive. Really hoping to see the color better than the web images and glass case at the store that doesn't show the color well.

Also quite curious to see how well the DLC performs vs. the scratch prone SS.

Same here big wrist need extra links.

Good to know I am not the only one. I did the chat thing with Apple and the Geek had no idea if the store would have extra links. All of the are the same size near the clasp on the bracelet.

Good luck to all of us and hope this is the week!

----------

Are the 38mm and 42mm links the same size?

They would not be the same near the watch case. I do know if the links near the bracelet are removable and the same size but not sure about them being the same size on both size bands.

Hope we all find out this week!

A flight just landed in Newark international airport. Expect second wave of charges once they start unloading in distribution center. 2 more planes expected in the next hour or so.

Is the UK receiving shipments by barge or what, there has been a severe lack of movement on both 38mm and 42mm.

You would think so, wouldn't you? Movements have only been once a week for 2 hours at a time, except for yesterday where it was the whole day. The US are getting shipments daily.

However I don't think ours are coming direct to the UK. It looks to me that they are coming into the Netherlands where the main European warehouse/supply chain is located and being distributed from there to each country.

For instance, when my spare band arrived it had dutch postal stickers on the box, sent direct from the warehouse. It also makes sense because when our orders start moving, so do the German once, etc. Looks like they are all being scanned out of 1 single depot, then taken in batches to the destination countries and distributed from there.

UK allocation seems to be quite small though. 😕

That makes sense in terms of what we are experiencing, but seems to be a logistical 'dogs back leg'. Fingers crossed for more trickles today😕

:02, charged yesterday at 7am, still at processing? From past experiences it flipped to PFS within a few hours, which still seems to be the trend here. How long should I wait before chatting with apple? Just wait until I reach the end of my 5/27 shipping window?

I would check out https://supportprofile.apple.com and see it they have attached it to your account yet.

I wouldn't wait, they can be quite helpful and would be able to tell you if there is a problem with your order.

Woohoo another landing in 4 minutes. I actually live less then a mile from Newark airport. So I actually hear the planes flying over to land. Thinking to myself my apple watch is on this ✈

Our attempt to reach back beyond the couriers delivery status! Just supposing we could track every step of the production process of our orders, right back to the molten steel process. This thread would be huge!

Appears Australia missed out on this wave... Hoping some movement tomorrow :|

I am wondering if there's some in the country but the logistics moves slower here.

I'm kinda hoping there's some in the country and we'll see charges in the next few hours before the shipping starts moving in the morning. I know with the iPhone 6, They were sitting in the warehouse for a while before they moved.

I'm gonna be working tomorrow now so I probably still won't see it even if it does ship, sadly.

You know what sucks? Even if you were right and the watch wasn't that far from you… clearing customs then going through logistics and delivery, It may still be days away. 😛 (I also live under the approach path so I know those feels, man)

Edit: Quoted the wrong person

Is this a thread about Apple Watches or Air Traffic Control?

There were five flights from Alaska to Louisville Kentucky which is ups eastern hub. Then there were 3 flights from Louisville to Newark. I'm thinking these flights are loaded with Apple Watches! There was also a 2 flights from Alaska to Cali

Apple is known for charging credit cards right before the leave the distribution centers.
So I wish everybody good luck on getting their watches in the next few hours.
