Surprised to hear about the scratching being so easy. I have heard to opposite. Few weeks before I can find out for myself so I don't know what to believe.

Damn I forgot about that. Sorry! Thanks for answering

Thank you! So early June's are starting to move. Thank god. I'm a xx:06:50. Next week looks promising more for my watch.

Me too, just 1 minute away...and we are stuck! I am also in Los Angeles, seems that all of us in Cali are behind the rest of the nation.

Same as my SSG, I was on a holding pattern for a week.

I guarantee you guys will be charged Monday night or Tuesday morning.

That happens almost every night. Nothing happens. Processing processing and more processing. Every day I'm processing.

Picked up at hub. So nice. Clasp scratched within 2 hours of owning it - it was lightly rubbing on the airplane lap buckle - so yeah really not that 'durable' - any metal contact will scratch it. Also my maps don't work and I'm not alone in this regard. Other than that - gorgeous piece.

It's more than likely residue from the lap buckle. DLC is super scratch resistant. A guy on YouTube did scratch test with scissors. It leaves a mark on the watch but then he uses a micro-cloth to rub it out & sure enough it's gone.

Its doubtful that Apple would put out a band like this that will easily scratch. It may not be 100% scratch proof but DLC is very very scratch resistant

Guys seriously how do I cope with being stuck in processing limbo. I'm out of touch with reality because I'm addicted to checking my order status and then I get let down every time. It's worse than rejection in high school.

I'm hearing you - "Processing" HELL! I cry myself to sleep at night and spend the days in the corner, gently rocking... "Space Black is coming, Space Black is coming..."

I feel you dude, I feel you.

And honestly, I'm not too optimistic about the june+july delivery dates. If the analysts are right, then there were a **** ton of orders on the first day and 20-30k every day after that. If that's true, then I think those late dates might be accurate (I really hope not though ). I seriously can't imagine potentially having to wait up to two more months.

I'm really hoping that's it!!! Will try when I have access to some of the stuff I've seen people use on DLC.

Do you honestly think they get 30,000 $1k watch orders a day? Maybe with the sports yet. But for the space black I doubt they do.

The straps have made its way to the stores already. In Australia, the rubber straps and Milanese loops are available for purchase. I'm assuming this is an indicator that in June we'll have those watch models available for sale too not the edition or link, or space black though.

UK Deliveries

Order - My order was xx:10 in UK
PFS - Card charged through Paypal 21st May and PFS at 16:37
Dispatch - Dispatched 22nd May and with UPS at 18:20
Delivery - It's a Holiday on Monday so due to be delivered Tuesday 26th

Fingers crossed for Tuesday - looking forward to it :apple::)

Unfortunately I'm very optimistic about the June/July dates for this specific model. Apple knew how many they were prepared to make every week and that is why they delivery dates got pushed out so quickly.
If they could make 10k a week and I ordered the 10,001 I went to week two. We have already seen one second making a big difference in shipping times.
If they are saying June it's because they have enough orders to fill as many as they were prepared to make until that time frame arrives, same for July.
This model is unique because of the extra process required, there is a finite number they can do each day. Unless they decide to really crank up that process speed and if that was the case why haven't they done it already? I'm afraid we June people won't see anything in May and the July folks will be waiting even longer.
Sorry if this is a downer, I'm just as depressed about this as anyone. Excuse me while I go check my status again.

well I just got my watch yesterday. It looks very nice don't get me wrong but I'm having a hard time convincing myself that I need this. I'm fairly certain I will be returning it. I just don't have the use for it it.

You have 14 days. Stop trying to "use" it and just try it as a watch. I think you will like it if you change your perspective a little.

Just a suggestion before returning!
