Sorry I am new to this thread. What did everyone think of the Space Black ones when they got to try them on? Our local store did not have Space black available for try on.
Yes, but Look at this pic, quite a big difference between this and the pics above. The display case ones look better. Just wondering if anyone has checked a try on model with a light to see if it really is much darker or just a lighting issue.
More importantly, how will the retail one look upon delivery.

Were there any April 24 1st Wave ship dates?
I got on 3:10 am through the Apple Store App and immediately got the May 13 confirmed second shipping wave. I was able to get the SS 42mm with the classic buckle in the 1st shipment wave and received it April 24. I wonder if there was anyone who even got a 1st wave ship date or if they held that model back.
Also I got some answers from apple bout everything else but noone could or would tell me if there was a first wave shipment for the Black SS or if it was held back and the May 13th was the first wave for them.

I agree, I prefer the gunmetal-type finish to the jet black look but I would be ok with both.
As far as I have seen online there is no such thing as a first wave for this model. They were second wave from first order. I ordered at 2:02 and still got the May 13th date.
