Damn it Apple
Okay, that was seriously not cool. I just got an email from Apple with the header:
"Your Apple Watch Order Wxxxxxxxx"
Then I open it, and it just says "Your Apple Watch is expected to ship within the next 5 to 6 weeks. When your order ships, you will receive a shipment notification. blah blah check with apple for up to date info"
It's seriously lame to send that kind of email when the delivery date is so far. I thought my watch had shipped when I saw that header
Why even send that out? I knew my delivery estimate way before that anyway.

Yep, just got that myself. Pretty safe to say that all of the "July's" that just got a shipping window will be getting that today.

Agreed - once we start to see some real movement in the Junes, I think they'll catch us up pretty quickly.
I really, REALLY doubt Apple would DLC coat the pin in the BSB. Not unless they charged more for it than the other sport bands!
It'll be a durable paint - likely automotive.
I'm inclined to somewhat agree but I'm not quite sure. Apple may already have the DLC facilities and it may in fact be cheaper to do that and not advertise it, and Apple does use other products without credit (I would bet that Ion-X is from Corning)...
Honestly, I'm just wondering what's taking so long to build, unless they simply didn't ramp up productions of the links themselves until May, and that the 42 watches are that backlogged...

I JUST GOT CHARGED FOR MY SB SS 42. NO ****ING WAY. just got home from work ate and was heading out to disc golf and go for a run and I see a charge on my lock screen. OMG ITS HAPPENING. I HOPE WE GET IT TOMORROW. I DONT WANT TO WAIT TILL MONDAY.

Could have it as early as Friday I hope. Last time I got charged this time of day I had it the next day.
