Stainless Steel Space Black Shipping Status

It's very likely this latest round of Preparing to Ship changes won't start shipping until Monday. "June" will be the 3rd thru 5th or so.

Nobody has received a shipping notice and it's Thursday after 5pm PST, doubtful they are coming tomorrow / before the weekend.

I don't necessarily think that is true at all. We were seeing some shipments go out Sunday night of Memorial day weekend. My personal expectation is to see things go out tomorrow and delivered Monday. Anything sooner than that is a huge bonus.

Well...

The original Apple Pay transaction was declined. I had to reactivate the credit card on the bank website, enter the info into the apple store website and then call Apple Customer support. The support rep was able to manually verify with the bank and confirm a good transaction. So... We'll see... I hope to still get my watch early next week.

I have to agree with the people that say pictures don't do it justice. Some of the pics of the regular SS link had me thinking of switching but I'm really glad I didn't I love the look of this. The way the screen melts into the watch is just awesome and the finish has a lot of depth to it, even indoors. Definitely the black look but it isn't just a solid black boring type of look with the brushed band it really gives it good character and as I mentioned depth. Really loving it so far.

You obviously have small wrists as that looks bigger on your wrist than the 42 does on mine. I would say that the 38 is perfect for you.
 
I got ridiculed for returning mine and keeping the Milanese loop at the store. I own a Rolex, tag and rado, but I never needed the heart rate monitor to make sure the watch was on properly so I left them a little loose. I live in nc and with our heat my wrist size changes all the time and I couldn't handle paying so much for it and not using the bland link bracelet. Also the fingerprint issues were bad. Hope you all enjoy yours.

Well, for those of us that waited to order... I ordered May 2nd, and mine has gone from the nebulous "processing" to "ships in 5-6 weeks", with a delivery date of July 7-14. Here's hoping that date moves sooner... 🙁

So UPS's website wasnt helpful about what time a pickup has to be made for UPS Next Day Air Saver to gurrantee next day delivery, so I did a mock shipment from Louisville (this is where my gf's SG came from) to my location in the midwest and it say "Latest pickup time, todays date, 10pm". So, I hope these watches are picked up by UPS by 10pm local time of where ever they are coming from. Assuming its ontario, they have 3 more hours. Im CST and its 9:21pm for me, so should be 7:21pm PST. If they come from kentucky, should be in the next 40 minutes.

If not, I hope these watches ship next day air so I can add saturday delivery to it, ill be pissed if apple finally shipped them and they have to sit all weekend. At the same time, if they ship tonight, I need to either be awake long enough, to catch my shipment so I can have it held at UPS CC or I just need to wake up at 4am like I plan and hopefully I can still hold it at UPS CC. If not, looks like im calling in sick / working from home if it ships tonight.

Returning my 42mm SSSB tomorrow. Sad about it, but the battery seems defective. I'm keeping my seemly perfect 42mm SS BSB. Also in NC. The rigidity and fingerprints of the link bracelet are secondary issues. Very sad. It is a pretty watch.

That was me, I posted a few pics of my BSB with the grey pin, IMO it is almost black do should be a good match although I can't confirm until I receive my watch 🙁

Yeah. Ive refresh my apple order page about every 5 minutes now. Im jsut going to bed. I hope it ships from a PST time zone now so it gets here tomorrow, but apple chat said that they will use the fastest shipping method and apple is known to use UPS NEXT Day Air sometimes. Hopefully they do and I can add saturday delivery to it. If not, I will just suck it up even though I dont want to. I can tell you if I have to wait till monday, my weekends going to go by REAL quick.

For now goodnight, everyone who is PFS good luck and hopefully it ships tonight. Everyone not PFS, your time is coming next week and hopefully earlier so you can enjoy it instead of waiting a ****ing weekend worth.
 
First full day with the watch after letting it drain completely last night. Started the day off at 11am. It's now almost 11pm and battery is at 28%. That's with working out and actively out all day. Even had a phone conversation with just the watch while driving. It was surprisingly easy and not distracting at all. The design of the link bracelet is impressive. I use the BSB while working out and it is super light. Only issue I'm having is when I set to default watch face when my raise my wrist. Sometimes it will still be stuck on the previous app/activity. Takes about 20s to a minute for it default to watch face. My friend said his works immediately with no delay. So idk if that's an actual bug or not. Either way it isn't a big deal tho.

I hope all of you get your watches soon!!

Congrats and thanks for the update. Probably see you on the owners thread soon, unless I find someone who absolutely have the SSSB right now!

There is an option to set what you wanna see when you raise your wrist
