Well, you had all of May to do that. But here we are in June and getting our watches as promised. The majority of us are looking forward to it as well. Can't say you are. There is a thread dedicated to whinging about June deliveries. Maybe you can fill the pages up over there with your unrealistic fudging about when a month starts and finishes.

Personally, I use a calendar. Most times an Apple calendar.
This thread is dedicated to SBSS Shipping. I can whine all I want about how Apple's tactics were in my view deceptive, and how I had all of May to change my mind, when you know, Apple told me I was getting my watch ordered less than a half hour after the late May dates at the end of the month. But, you use a calendar? Congrats! An Apple calendar? Congrats! I love calendars with only 4 days per month, all of which are almost at the end of the month! Tell me, how much did you pay for this calendar? $1100? Aren't you awesome. I prefer my calendars as having at least 28 days per month. I'd consider getting your calendar looked at by a genius if it is missing most of the month.
I understand your viewpoint, but I disagree with the premise of your argument that Apple has been disingenuous at any point. You were promised June, and now that they've narrowed the delivery range, the delivery range is still within June.
Additionally; this (as has been stated probably many times in many other venues) is a completely new product, manufactured at a scale that is typically unprecedented for new products, with a number of fairly new-to-market features that are unseen in any other consumer device. Considering all of this, Apple has hit timely (and been ahead of all estimates for all models, remember) shipping targets through out the launch.
While those shipping targets may not line up with your assumptions, I am unsure that you should feel nearly as betrayed as you appear to be in your ranting.
Personally, I am also disappointed, but I don't feel that Apple has lied to me; simply that it's unfortunate that the timeline has extended to the back-end of the promised range, rather than the front.
OK, here's why you're wrong (to me): July orders were given opening dates of June 29th. June orders were given the week before. My watch is as "June" in my opinion as a July watch is "July" because I'm guaranteed it three days before. And furthermore, there is no reason Apple couldn't have used this as a benchmark date when ordering. It isn't disingenuous to assume "June" does not mean "Ships June 22-26" so close into the pre-orders, especially when late May was offered for 5 minutes, and June 1-21 aren't even being considered. Because this is not really more of a June estimate than a July order it turns out, Ships "June 29-July 4." No matter how you spin it, it isn't. A month is not a week, and that fails to answer why the July orders are shipping June by the same logic. I'm not saying July shouldn't arrive early-don't get that wrong. I'm saying that Apple could've said on the website "Ships by June 30th" and I would have no argument. They didn't do that, and in my opinion, blanched that expectation. I could've had a watch, in my view, two months earlier than I had my watch. In terms of actual value of the item-resale-I've lost effectively two months after "Launch," of course a risk I took. But if I were whining two months ago that my ship date probably meant the last week of June, the same people on this board telling me I'm disingenuous I believe would've said "You're being pessimistic! Can't you see Apple is aware of the issue and shipping some watches early? I doubt you'd have to wait until the end of the month!" but that's an argument based on alternate reality-I can't be sure you'd have done that. But some people did seriously state that don't whine that'll be coming in June-as it'll probably come in May. Until it didn't.
But you're significantly more respectful than some others, so, its not you I'm accusing you of being disingenuous; you might really be as disappointed as I am, but unwilling to blame Apple's...lack of good communication...on it (this model got no press, wasn't discussed, wasn't really reviewed, despite being the highest price of a luxury good that wasn't "gold" in itself-which has given me a taste of let's say less than luxurious). I am willing to make this point. If you don't believe it, we're not in the same boat, and that's fine.
