Alright, so, after getting rescheduled for Saturday delivery because of weather (should have been Friday), I woke up this morning to some upsetting news.

I live in an apartment building, and during the week, UPS delivers to a dock. Well, the driver tried to deliver it there today at 8:30 AM, and no one was there. So, "EXCEPTION!" - next delivery attempt will be Monday.

This was more than a little upsetting, considering we have a desk in the front where they could have delivered it. So I call UPS and when I gave them the tracking number, she asked "Is this an Apple Watch?". She then rescheduled the driver to come again today! I was very nice and polite, and just simply asked if they could re-deliver it today but to our front desk. She gave me a 1PM time estimate!

....And delivered! Woo!
Wow! just because its an  watch! talk about having some pull!

Methinks UPS gives them different flight numbers when they're headed back. Maybe UPS80 when it's flying west and UPS81 when it's flying east? Their live tracking here: http://flightaware.com/live/fleet/UPS

You are a GENIUS! yes, flight 80 is scheduled to fly back. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS80/history/20150627/0920Z/KSDF/PANC

Going to Anchorage first so they can grab something to eat and then back to Shanghai for some drinks.

So update to everyone with a watch in China, our ride is on THE way! lol

Edit: on its way to PANC

I have this sinking feeling that, despite the change in delivery to today. I'm not seeing my watch until Monday. It landed in Oakland at 6am, and departed Oakland around 7, but it still hasn't arrived here in the South Bay, and (as of 1:15) isn't out for delivery. I'm still holding on to hope but prepared to be frustrated ;(

Got mine delivered yesterday. Looks great, worth the wait. My wife has the 38 mm space gray sport. Good because I have both to compare. I believe it's worth the wait and 3X the price difference of the sport.

Nope. I am kind of pissed at UPS.

It's only ~30 miles from Oakland airport to the Sunnyvale UPS hub, and yet, 15 and a half hours later, no arrival scan. I'm sure that the truck arrived in Sunnyvale 20 minutes after the morning sort, and they didn't give a crap enough to deliver, despite telling me they would.

Congrats to all you folks that actually got your Saturday delivery, though. I just asked them if they could pull it for me so I could pick it up tomorrow, but at this point I'm pretty sure it's Monday or nothing.

I'm more annoyed that I literally sat in the living room and waited all day for UPS, I can wait for my watch until Monday, but I wasted an entire day sitting here, because there was no way I was going to let them leave it without a signature, and the drivers around here are sometimes notice-dropping ninjas that don't bother actually knocking on the door before leaving a failed delivery notice.

I hear ya @funjon... My driver hates knocking on my door apparently. Unless I have the window open and see the truck arriving I never get my signature required packages. Its easier for him to bend down, lift the rug and place the box under it than actually knocking the door:mad:. I know there is no sunday delivery but I would call Apple and UPS to see if you get something, I saw patterns here of people calling and getting their shipment rushed by UPS. Looks like they have some specific contract with apple about the watch...

UPS ... Residential delivery times are not guaranteed - only business delivery times.

I'm not sure that's correct.

With residential addresses, the sender has to pay an extra fee and they may deliver until later in the day.

Otherwise, I'm not aware of any differences in the service.

I talked to them yesterday, they said the best they could do was to hold it at the depot for Monday morning pickup. So, I'll run over there at 9am tomorrow.

good luck. i know its not consolation, but its totally worth it. bought a blue SB for it too, looks equally awesome.

So, I logged into the Apple Support Profile site earlier, and noticed that my watch showed up. However, now I'm afraid I somehow got sent the wrong model. For the rest of you SSSB owners, does yours look like this in supportprofile? (Specifically, showing a picture of the regular stainless model, and not calling out anywhere that it is the Space Black)

Mine is still with UPS, but I have the same thing on my Support Profile. Unless both of us somehow got sent the wrong model, I think we're probably OK.

You are OK, The picture show SS but the serial number will match your SBSS.

I ordered on June 8, 2015, and I got my watch now from Suzhou as of 8:16 p.m. On June 29, 2015. Apple says delivery by July 2, 2015, but UPS has it been delivered on July 1, 2015. It looks like it will be delivered on my birthday. That's going to be a nice present.

I think so, the timing seems right. One of the gurus who has been reading the filght times can probably say better. The scan out of Suzhou was at 8:16 p.m. That ws about 2.5 hours ago. UPS 81 took off about an hour later at 9:05 p.m. If so, arrival will be in Anchorage at 1:33 p.m.

Ordered mine on the 22nd June and arrived today in the UK. Just 1 week! Looks like they're getting on top of production of these. Loving the watch - will post in the show off forum later!
