I got the same message except ups doesn't function in Canada on weekends! And the next ups flight from Louisville to toronto leaves Tuesday morning so I think I'm screwed.

Well and whats worse is that last thing thats happened was at 1:03 and it was still in KY. Like, its gotta leave there, get to NJ, and on a truck there, to my house. By 7?

I woke up to a Supreme Court ruling, an import notification, and my delivery date is now Saturday. What a way to start the weekend!
Im beginning to loose faith that my Friday delivery on time is on time and that its more like on time for Sat delivery

me either. but my delivery date did jump back. Who knows. Maybe it just hasnt updated (didnt get my 8am delivery update till almost 12) and its already here. Its only 90min flight...

Woot! Looks like a giant shipment of watches just became available. I ordered a second watch on May 23 after someone decided the smaller one wasn't good enough and a few minutes ago I just received a PFS. (I'm in WA, US). Looks like this discussion thread might be coming to an end!

??? UPS works 24/7. They don't normally deliver on Saturdays for Apple (wondering if the "in-store oopsie" is why Apple's putting the 4th quarter push on), as the shipper usually has to pay for Saturday delivery.I got the same message except ups doesn't function in Canada on weekends! It's Louisville to Mount Hope (Hamilton) - not Toronto. The UPS distribution centre is in Concord (north end of metro Toronto) - takes about an hour and 20 minutes for the truck to get from the airport to the distribution centre.
If Apple's pulling out the stops, you could get Saturday delivery. The "rub" is that it needs to clear Canadian Customs and get to Concord. Seeing as how it arrived there at noon, they've had ample time to get that cleared.
Where does it currently say your package is on the tracking?

The number of orders in June is going to be trivial vs what was ordered in May. And...most people are going in-store and buying something that's available. I don't see there being a big backlog for June. Small enough that another week of charges should likely clear it.

Very true, I ordered mine in late april and its 'coming today' :crosses fingers: i have a feeling that 90-95% of the orders were the first few hours, another 80% of the rest were the following week, and now its only a small fraction that got in late enough that they didnt know the stores would have them as the delivery times shortened
