Could be totally unrelated, but just logged onto my credit card account (for a non-watch check funnily enough) and I noticed my available balance has changed ever so slightly.
Doing the math it looks like it has dropped by £2.57 (really random number). The last thing I bought on my card was a son on iTunes yesterday for £0.99 which is showing up on my account and not used it since....wonder if it's just a test transaction from Apple.
Why the random amounts though??? Probably nothing, but thought I would share.

Exactly. If I see another "Space Grey Sport" wannabe space black PEASANT watch get another shipping confirmation I'm going to blow.
We paid a premium AND get the opportunity to see every other model ship before ours. If they are having a production issue with this model I think they should inform us.

Really, I'd be fine with my May 14 date (not really) if it wasn't for literally everyone else's May 14 date being pushed to now. It's not fair that we are getting singled out here.
Definitely a bunch of crap. All in all - I really want the space black SS link watch - so I am willing to wait until its ready. I'm not going to jump ship like several others and buy the sport blue and white. I want a premium nice smart watch.
We do have to remember that up front - the shipping dates were 4-6 weeks out. However I still find it hard to believe that not a single person I know of who ordered a space black will be getting one on launch day.
This has all been said before - but I'm just getting tired of the peasants complaining and getting their way.
I get the frustration, clearly, but you folks are coming off as whiners. Have to be realistic. We all accepted the preorder with a delivery date that's still 2 weeks away from now in black and white. ANYTHING earlier is just a bonus. We knew damn well odds were low for a stretch to launch day. Spamming the executive team because the luck didn't swing that way this time is silly.

So really, no movement should be expected at all until May 5th when cards start being charged and only on May 8th can we start asking Apple where the watch is.
Then really though, since everyone here has "May 13th" even more so really no complaining is owed at all until May 13th.Apple has said some watch orders will ship early but let's consider anyone receiving a watch before May 13th a complete outlier / lucky SOB.

while that may be true and i can accept that, i'd still like to know why there was not a single one ready for release day. just curious at this point.
I understand what you're saying, but the main point of my email to the executive team was that everyone had at least a 4-6 week estimate. I was just trying to figure out the cause for the delay for everyone who ordered that model.
True, but we are only human. Its annoying seeing "most" other models breeze right through with their orders. I would be totally fine if we got an email update from Apple just to calm us down.
Maybe a cool minimalist special email with a close up of the space black band saying something like "The wait is almost over" followed by a short description basically informing us that there is a delay and we should expect to hear updates around X day and will unfortunately not be receiving a space black on launch day.
Some sort of acknowledgement for supporting a very important launch for Apple and dropping down a premium for the higher quality link - not to mention the most expensive pre-edition.
Maybe they can do a similar email for the others like Pink Sport and Leather Loop Etc.
