'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Trailer Now Available

Anyone who's interested in a scientific universe that isn't retarded, all 7 seasons of Star Trek Next Generation is all available on Netflix (and other streaming services.) You could probably choose the worst 9 hours of footage from that show and every hour would be better than the best hour of Star Wars.

Its Star Wars, whatever they do people will be disappointed. Nothing can live up to the rose tinted memories of the original.

That being said, I was disappointed, but will still look forward to it of course.

Im kind of looking forward to it! Just wish the 30 years of novels and comics I've been reading hadn't been dumped.

1. When viewed on my iPhone (which I do 99% of the time for MacRumors) every news item is listed one after the other on the main page. So if I want to visit this website I cannot escape the dross.

2. Correct. I am so disinterested by Star Bores that it has irritated me enough to post a comment. I believe the term is 'free speech' no?

The term troll loses its derogatory power when people use it so loosely. Besides, I think you could equally be labelled the same for that last retort.

*shrugs* I just don't get why you are so invested in a movie (and a thread about said movie series) that you have deemed as boring. You must not have anything better do. Whatever..... I am done. I actually have to go figure out what to do with Thanksgiving leftovers..... Maybe some turkey soup ...

Jurassic World was a fraud for me already. Now, this trailer feels like Star Wars elements but it does not have the Star Wars feeling.

What I do see is that the camera work is so different that the feeling is another one. And the texture and colors are more towards an "The Avengers" movie, not the film look from Star Wars.

Let see. You bet they are reading every comment in the internet.
 
Seriously amazing, everyone at worked was blown away. Cant even compare starwars to Jurassic park. Make me believe again JJ. probably the most significant cinema release in 20 years.
 
Looks great. I am sure the new trilogy will be the best so far, even if it does not have the impact of the original.

On a related matter, why oh why does Apple not make their trailers embeddable? They have QuickTime which is in my opinion the best wrapper for digital videos with the best default codec support and they do nothing to promote it online.

To be fair, the destruction of a space station and the#1 and #2 leaders in the government shouldn't topple a galaxy-wide empire. It makes more sense for the empire to still exist than not.

Couldn't help myself. As a kid I never understood how such a technologically advanced galaxy could live in 3rd world slumbs or do nothing but let droids do everything for them.

I think you miss the point of "....A long time ago..." Star Wars takes place in the past in a less "advanced" period. Yes they are more advanced than us today, but by their standards, still coming out of their 'middle ages.'
