Starbucks coffee makes my stomach gurgle (I prefer local coffee shops), I loved the first four seasons of The Office (US version), and my only experience with graphic design is getting to play around with content-aware fill in CS5.

Oh, I also use Mac.

There's something missing in your stereotype. AHA! VW Jetta.

I do not go to Starbucks, The Office is mediocre at best, I am not a designer, but I do own a Mac.

I go to Caribou Coffe, and watch Always Sunny and Arrested Development :p

Love Starbucks (especially their chai latte), use a Mac. Aspiring to be a designer, don't watch The Office but love Steve Carrell.

So depends on how you see it either 2/4 or 3/4.

I like Starbucks' baked goods, I don't watch The Office, I'm not a designer, and I use Mac.

1.5/4.

Still doesn't beat the time my instructor said "That was a great Powerpoint, but you Mac people always always know how to make nice stuff anyway" after my Keynote. It is not my fault Keynote has Magic Move and it seems to mesmerize people.

Never really had a Starbucks, I'm only 14 so I don't work, and I've never watched The Office, but I do I have a Mac (obviously).

I don't like coffee, but buy food from Starbucks when I'm hungry, don't watch the office, and don't do design.

The office is Friends for the 2010's... so most people will like it. Likewise, most people enjoy starbucks, it's just that not everyone can afford it. the mac "image" that you see has more to do with how much money you can afford to flaunt, rather than how much you fit a stereotype.

I am not a fan of Starbucks but like the iced drinks. I love the office but am starting to enjoy community more and I am studying business administration.

I love macs because they take all the extra crap out of the operating system that I do not want. Also They have a simple, clean design.

So I fit your stereotype more than others here

I love Starbucks-cold drinks in the winter, hot drinks in the summer. Sometimes.

Hello MacRumors,

This is my first forum but I figure I would start now  I have noticed lately that many people have fit the "I like Starbucks; watch The Office, I'm a designer, and I use Mac" Sterotype if you will. Maybe I'm just crazy but do you almost fit or fit this "sterotype". I know I do and some of my friends are as well. Tell me what you think.

There are countries other than the US. Really. They do exist.

I rarely ever go to Starbucks but do enjoy a nice cold Frappuccino from time to time. I find Steve Carrel funny in certain instances, but don't really watch TV much less a specific show. I am however into graphic and web design, which may have something to do with why I use a Mac.

I find that most "hardcore" Mac-users, those that have been for a few years, utterly despise Starbucks. The hipster cliché that surrounds Apple is mostly founded on the new users, those that don't care about design and interface, and simply want a white computer they can show to their hipster friends.

Once I did a project for English and got it done early and showed it early. The teacher showed it to the class and said "This is what it should look like. It's awesome." She wanted me to show the class what I did but I said "I have a Mac and Photoshop." Our school has $599 Dell Laptops which don't have Photoshop or Keynote. She was mad because she couldn't copy my style. :p

I'm neutral on Starbucks.

I'm a software engineer, which is way cooler than being a designer. ;)

I'm not much of a television person, so I've never seen The Office. I sometimes watch The Daily Show via their website.

I've been a Mac user since 2001, and had been a Linux user before that. Currently, ignoring the Macs provided by my employer and my husband's employer, there are five Macs at home (plus two iPhones and an iPad, and I'm sure that there's a couple of old and unused iPods around somewhere).

I hate coffee, but go to Starbucks every once in a while for their teas and wi-fi.

The Office is one of my favorite shows on T.V., besides The Wire, Eastbound and Down, Chuck, and Fringe.

I am not a designer, actually, at the moment I'm unemployed.

I have only used Mac since my sophomore year of college, which was 2006/7. Since then, I've gone through the first iPhone iteration and a MacBook, and I'm currently using an iPad and iMac, with an iPhone 3g (however, I will be switching to Android in Jan. when my ATT contract is up).

I do go to Starbucks. But don't spend my time there lol, or using my mac while on starbucks.

I don't watch The Office. Well not anymore because they stoped the show here, but i´ve only seen the UK version.

I am a designer.

I am a Mac. i'm sorry, I have a mac :D well pretty much i own it's apple.

So yeah i think i fit into the sterotype eehhe
