The episode "Human" - the parts with Daniel Jackson were sort of lame (and, of course, reminded me of the new BG).

The scenes with Cloe and the alternative music are starting to annoy me...

The scenes, of course, on the planet with the ruins were cool...

yup agreed with everything you just said :p

aahh its good to be back after a ban :D

Fan service.;)

Although it's refreshing to have a Stargate where the top egghead doesn't look down on the number two egghead. In the movie Daniel didn't think much of Dr. Gary Meyers. In SG1 Carter didn't think much of McCay, although grudging respect did creep in a little. In Atlantis, McCay openly scoffed at nearly everything Zelenka did.

Rush, in Universe, highly respects Eli. This is seen throughout the series thus far. It's openly stated by Rush in Human. I though it was the best episode so far, except for the Daniel bit. After watching Human, it's easy to see why Rush is so obsessed with Destiny.
He lost the chance to say good-bye to his dying wife because the the Icarus Project. [\Spoiler]

Hey,

They are finally picking up the pace!

Glad to see the show finally taking shape and a direction. You would think they would stop losing people on the planets they visit by now! LOL

Any idea on what the ending meant tonight?

haven't watched yet.... Have to download Haha. Was it good?

Another stupid "music video" sequence with some *lame* alternative song that only high-schoolers would like.

Unfortunately, if that's the audience they're trying to attract, someone should tell them that Cloe will have to turn into a Vampire and Scott into a Warewolf before they'll start watching...

Lame...

Sorry, I want Atlantis or SG-1 back - at least there's the DVD's (on season 9 of SG-1 right now).

just finished watching ep16. twas interesting and i have absolutely no idea what the ending meant! i wish them alien guys would go away though

They are playing with pretty powerful concepts, but it all feels so rushed that they really don't explore anything with any real depth.

Imagine being wheelchair bound and suddenly being able to walk, breath and interact. Very cool concept. In fact the whole stone thing really opens up a new dimension for them to explore, considering the aliens have communication stones too.

So is that scientist now part of the ship or what? He dissapeared into the ether :p Just another ghost in the machine...

Well, the show is finally starting to move, but the characters are still a little bit rough. Still no emotional attachement to any of the characters, except maybe Eli.

VERY powerful concepts! but yes they just brush over everything - it would be hard, there are SO many possibilities that they can play with..

the wheelchair was an awsome concept.

and eli is pretty awsome :D

what scientist? the chick scientist? yea shes gone :(

I don't know what scientist you're referring to.
the dude that sat in the chair :)

BTW, who was the soldier with big boobs supposed to have slept with? I only ask because she was talking about with the "doctor" or whatever she is in the last episode.
those boobs are heavenly! i honesly have no friggen clue who she has slept with hey! i cant figure it out!

ohh that guy. right. who knows what will happen to him. the ship has taken him, maybe he has gone into the "higher state"??

My wife thinks that the guy who disappeared from the chair will cause the ship to have some sort of sentience from now on. Sort of like Moya from Farscape.

I think her and Lt. Scott had something going on at Icarus base before they jumped to the Destiny.

I can only think of one LT and that's the one sleeping with Chloe. Same guy?

Actually there are 3 Lieutenants on board:

Lt. Scott - the guy who is sleeping with Chloe.

Lt. James - lady with the big boobs.

Lt. Johansen - medical officer, pregnant with Col. Young's child.

You wrote "chick scientist" above though.
yea i thought it was that disabled chick that the OP was referring to lol. woops

that makes sense actually, maybe his concious mind will gain control of the ship!?

you reckon? i was actually thinking the Col. might have done it...

Well, they must have saw this thread, because there was a focus on LT James (big boobs LT) and who she was sleeping with before the show started (LT Scott).

So, I was thinking they’d continue from the last show. Nope. Just another show on the ship. Details later when others have seen the show.

cheers for that aggie. Currently downloading it now going slowly but Haha.

This show is SOOOO Frustrating!

There is no continuity whatsoever!

I don't know if they are just trying to lay the seeds for future seasons or WTF?

Seriously, did they let a different writer write each episode of the show?

Things finally take a turn for the better, the characters are getting a little more personality and taking shape and they do this episode.

The constant human struggle act is already tired. I trust you, no I don't, yes I do, no I don't. Get on with it already! We know everyone on the show has a F***ed up past, but how did they get into a top secret program like this to begin with? LOL

Grrrr, they more or less repeated everyones issues that we've already seen.

OK, rant over. Whew I feel better now!

I tried to write a spoiler free post, so we'll go into more detail another time.

I never knew jumping galaxies only took 1 episode! LOL

I never knew jumping galaxies only took 1 episode! LOL

time is relative to the person experiencing it ;) maybe the show actually went for 3 years but they fast forwarded it :p
