It looks good, I would have gotten it if I was in the market to get it. I’ll be happy with my MacBook Pro 14’ M1 Pro in Silver for now.
Yeah I’ll probably buy a starlight for my girlfriend because I love the color so much haha. People (and things) will always tell you exactly what they are if you listen close …

I feel like Starlight is a nice color but I have a feeling It's the cheapest color option for Apple to make. I could be wrong.
I see more people are choosing it rather Midnight. Looks like Evans first blunder already with the midnight ‘my dads a geologist’.
If I'd buy one of these MBA's it would be the starlight.
The fingerprint issue on midnight don't look so good.
IF I would buy some this year it would be a MBP 13", but I don't need it now.

I like it! I feel like Starlight and Midnight are going to be the new/modern options. While Silver and Space Gray are classics, they are starting to look dated to me. I'm really hoping they bring these two new colors to the 14"/16" M2 MBPs. I'd love to have a Midnight MBP.

I wish it had a bit more gold to it, but it is an excellent color, albeit one that hasn’t generated as much excitement.
The new MBA is available in four colours: Silver, Space Grey, Starlight, and Fingerprint.
I wouldn’t have considered it if it was a more saturated gold but I like that it’s essentially a warmer silver. Considered midnight but I think the fingerprint thing would bother me.
If I would buy this Air, I would go for Starlight. It looks beautiful. I really love it looks not too gold.
Love it on my iPad mini, and if I were in the laptop market this year, starlight would be mine.
I’m glad I choose this over the midnight. Mine will be available for pick up next week!
just picked up my new starlight. I was a little unsure if it would have enough gold color after seeing the starlight watch at the apple store. I thought it might look like frosted silver. But it is just right! In person and on such a large surface it’s the perfect champagne color.

I love Starlight. Have Starlight iPhone, iPad mini and Watch all from last year. Would get the Air as well if I needed a new laptop.
Yeah, no kidding. I was only playing around with them in the Apple Store for a couple of minutes. But oh boy, did midnight pick up prints 😕
I wonder if the poor folk working there are now spending most of their time wiping down the midnight MBAs.
I would still pick midnight, and throw in a clear / transparent case, fingerprint problem solved, no?
I was at the apple store today to drop off an old machine for recycling, and took a look at the MBAs. The starlight looks fantastic, and I can’t wait. I think the in-mall store lighting is really not doing either starlight or midnight any favors tho. The midnight looked really flat and uninspiring. It wouldn’t surprise me if people see that in person and think it’s “meh”. Starlight at least looks ok. But it takes some imagination to see it for what it is in that light.

Have to admit Midnight seemed the obvious 'cool' choice (especially those who remember the matte black Macbooks back in the day) but after seeing Starlight in person where it's really more silver than anything else with a slight champagne tinge which isn't very noticeable except on the trackpad, I'd say Starlight is the colour to go for. It's pretty much silver, with a subtle uniqueness only visible in some lighting conditions.
