Starlight a sleeper hit?

I wonder which has the best thermals? Dark absorbs heat while silver reflexes. Probably very complicated as it depends on the external environment.

Really excited for my starlight 10/16/512 to arrive. Midnight looks neat, but I’m just tired of dark & neutral colors. I would have loved the purple from the M1 iMac line, but given these four choices, starlight was an easy call.

I think part of why it looks so good on the MBA vs smaller devices is the broad uninterrupted surface area that can really catch the light.

I think Starlight is a neutral color.

It absolutely is. Even midnight is. perhaps neutral was a poor word choice. It’s at least a little more interesting than the previous options, however.

MBA Starlight landed today! And it's as I expected. This thing is gorgeous.

The "starlight" or "champagne" aspect is extremely light. For those looking for bling-bling gold, this isn't it. It's very classy. Never too yellow, never too grey, never too silver or too gold. Just right.

Looks better on the MBA than it does on the Apple Watch. Probably because as a MBA it can stand on its own, I found Starlight on the AW "clashes" with my favorite bands.

The Starlight Apple Watch looks beautiful. Easily my favourite colour. Looks great on the MBA too.

Thanks! enjoying it thoroughly. Its predecessor, even if smaller, handier and cuter, has become way too slow. So the speed and performance bump is much appreciated. On top of that, I get to discover a modern macOS. 😁

Yeah, a while ago. Very useful to polish stainless steel Apple Watch case, or the display glass...

Guess everyone doesn’t mind fingerprints then as long as you can’t see them lol. They are hard to get off midnight even with Apples magic cloth.

They need a reason to release Magic Cloth 2 this Autumn lol

My Midnight is supposed to arrive this week but I just placed a new order for a Starlight instead. I just can’t/won’t deal with the fingerprint marks. I also really like the contrasting keyboard against the lighter body color on the starlight.

Sigh…now to wait another 2+ weeks. 😔

I seen it in store today, its a nice colour if thats the kind off colour you're into. For me at my desk, its a black desk, black monitor, black xbox, black cables, space grey iPad and space grey iPhone in a black case. Wouldn't match the rest of my set up at all.

The issue im having is im worried how well midnight will hold up over time
