Go aluminum if you really LOVE the color offering. Some people love the new Starlight color. I loved the gold (pink gold) on the Series 6. It matches my MacBook Air.

Otherwise, as others have suggested, go stainless steel. You can't be wrong there.

I have small wrists too. So as much as I want a bigger screen, the bigger watch just looks funny on me- The size covers my entire wrist so you can never even see the band I'm wearing.

Although I understand big watches are in, I only wear them (Chanel, Chopard, Rolex) for a few hours as a fashion piece. I can never imagine wearing them as a daily activity watch as well as to track my sleep.

Also, you can adjust the font size on your watch to make reading a bit easier. Just my two cents.

Happy shopping. :D :)

Well I went ahead and ordered 41mm starlight aluminum. The stainless was super tempting, but I am a little nervous about the weight. I already have issues if I wear the watch on the snug side - it’s almost like it’s hitting a nerve in my arm or something, and I’m worried about the weight of the stainless exacerbating that.

So, now to see if I actually like the starlight when I’m wearing it...

Color is so particular. I'm glad you settled on Starlight. I've seen it in person and I think it's a chameleon color of silver and gold (but mostly silver). It can match a lot of different colored bands. So it's a smart move on Apple's behalf. I think it will be the "it" color for a few years.

The gold in aluminum is phased out, I'm glad I got it last year because I'm more warm tone so I prefer a gold color.

If you have a change of heart, there's always the 14 day return policy. Let us know, how you like yours! :D

You’re tiptoeing around it, but I feel like you don’t love the starlight ?☺️

I was deciding between the starlight Nike edition and either the Ti or stainless steel. Love the Nike faces and the starlight with the starlight strap looks so fresh! The other metals are gorgeous of course but it’s a different vibe.
Big smile... With one exception, a bright SS watch, I've always had silver Nike watches. I started out ordering a black Nike 45mm this year, then canceled. And as we already established ;) I wasn't going to order the Starlight watch, so I've got a SS this year. I have to say I like the bright SS a lot, but you get punished badly with both resales and trade-ins.

Ah, I’m preaching to the choir, as you're already a fan of the Nike faces. Yep SS is gorgeous! It’s kind of opposite for me - had mostly dark watches so this could be my first bright colored watch. Leaning towards the SBTi, but really a surprise showing for the Starlight in my 3-way runoff this Apple Watch season ?. And yes if I go Ti I’ll get trounced on resale value.

I'm a fan of a lighter/brigher color, but the Nike on that dark blue/darker blue band looked very good. When you get to SS and Ti I am a fan of the metal itself so I lean toward the natural finishes, but I think I'm a minority. All of the SS and Ti watches look great - and the ceramic did, too.

Hey guys speaking about SS, I ordered a gold SS because I’ve had both Space gray and silver aluminum in the past. I’d like something different. does anyone know if the gold one holds up well? I’m wondering if I should have ordered graphite or silver though because I have a cool skin tone. I know I’m so over thinking this lol. I didn’t like the silver on the 3 though so for the 5 I went Space gray.
I’ve had a gold stainless steel watch series 4 for 3 years now, and the finish is in perfect condition. Or at least nearly so—I don’t notice any scratches. And the color is intact.
