Yes, it´s connected with cable.
You mean resetting the TC - again :)

Not necessarily. You should enable NAT port mapping protocol on the TC so you can see the NAS from outside your local network.

Use the NAS software to see what port it is broadcasting on. Usually it would be UDP port 5351 but can be different.

Keep in mind using port mapping opens your local network to some security concerns since it is public not private.

Also..Sorry if I'm confusing you but when you asked for a static IP address from your ISP what IP address did they give you ?

80.71.134.118 - enabled by the numbers mentioned earlier....
Just found an old ss of the port forwarding with my first NAS. It might be useful - if they still use the same ports. Will check that out tomorrow.
I´m of to bed, as it´s getting rather late here in Denmark.

Your ISP is making this very difficult, no question. I have a static IP from mine, for which I pay extra (but very little). It's an actual public IP that's routable on the internet. It makes everything easy.

If they were doing it correctly, they should have given you 2 addresses in the public domain. One would be for your static IP assignment, and the other would be a gateway.

All that effort from you guys, and it still not works.

If I use 80.71.134.118 both as IP and router address, I can´t go on-line...

If I am understanding the way they set this up you will need to go back to that 10 series address as the static IP address in the time capsule. We know the internet worked like that.

Update.
Unplugged the NAS, and did a factory reset. After setting up the TC, I replugged the NAS, and went through the set-up.
Got the Synology DNS to work, and all seems fine now.
I want to thank you all - and my deepest apologies for the confusion I might have caused.

I am glad to hear you got it working.
