I'd be rubbing my chin too if i looked like that ....

It's like a head on a stick. Oh .... the humanity...

Jobs... on a stick

It kind of looks like Steve tried to teleport somewhere, but something went horribly wrong, philadelphia-experiment-like

Steve Deserves Better

You've got to be kidding me!!

This is minimalism carried to the extreme, which would equate to the obtuse. Simplicity of form should be intuitively obvious to the observer. This is far from obvious and far from intuitive.

I love the comical quips criticizing this monstrosity, but, please, Apple Do Not Allow this to become a reality.

The steve jobs thing!

This statue kinda reminds me of this....Thing. Hideous either way. I hope somebody at Apple WAKES UP FAST! Don't do it, Tim...

Well yes, to the untrained eye. But what you're missing are the ... err ... subtle ... umm ... nuances ...

Okay, you're right. That thing's hideous.

Couldn't have said it better. Bravo sir! At least I got a laugh out of this whole topic. For a second there I was thinking "Is it April 1st already??"

really?

they thought oh Steve Jobs and Apple huh...
streamlined, futuristic, functional, beautiful design.

so
lets do it real rough, awkward, ugly and it will have no functionality.
ok

:apple:

Awful

This is not art, this is stupid.
This sculptor not even understand what Jobs did.
"1", "0" this is how "artist" try to inject "computer" in this garbage.
Childish and in addition awful.

Eureka!

After forty years, thanks to the comments here (and one in particular) I finally figured out modern art and performance art! And no, I am not being sarcastic.

Good art is something that you enjoy looking at briefly. It can be the art in the museum that you glance at and move on, or the thing you put in your house to fill up empty wall space.

Great art is something that sticks with you longer. It might be the museum exhibit that you talk about long after the fact, or the piece that you specfically want for your house, whether you can afford it or not.

Modern art
One of the objectives of great art is to provoke conversation. By that metric, this work has succeeded wildly based on the comments.
is the artisitc world's version of trolling. It's all about filling the attention whore need of the artist and/or the displayer.
