There's a bug. Apparently the repo or the dev accidentally uploaded the wrong version. Stay away until the proper update is available in Cydia. Version 1.7 could possibly cause crashes. It does for me and a lot if other people. If I open the settings page, it crashes the settings app. If I open the notification center, it crashes to safe mode.

Just giving everyone the heads up.

Strange. I just tried all that and no crash.

Thanks for the heads up.

I feel lucky mines works for me.

Lol no problem. I wish mine didnt crash. Up until now, my JB has been rock solid. Whenever my phone crashes (it's very, very rare), its usually because of a situation like this. So I can't complain.

I feel guilty though because someone else started a thread announcing that the new version included an LTE/3G/Edge toggle but quickly turned to the crashing issues. Needless to say, I hate multiple threads all discussing the same topic. Hopefully the mods will merge the two just to keep things cohesive. If not no biggie. This thread will be a dead topic very soon once the updated version comes out in Cydia.

hmm. Seems to be working on the iPhone 5. Crashing only for the 4/4S?

Good point. I'm using a 4S on 6.1.2.

Updated mine and yup crashed everytime I pulled down notification center!! Had to remove it completely. Tried installing sbsettings but ncsettings is so much nicer!! Removed sbsettings too :(

Edit: 4S on 6.1

It's alright man. This place is full of threads with much lesser cause than yours so you're cool.

It worked on my iPad Mini but froze the notification window on my iPhone 5, same Cydia apps loaded on both at the same version except the iPhone 5 has Zephyr installed also.

It's been updated!

No. The dev tweeted that ModMyI uploaded the wrong version. Honest mistake!

Still crashes but go into the NCSettings in the settings app and reset all settings and it works.

Updated to 1.7 and kept crashing. Removed it upon reading a tweet from Jamie(the dev) saying that the wrong version had been uploaded to the repo and that the new one will be up soon. Now updated to 1.7-1 and all is well!! It's now safe do update!! :)
