Am I the only one using his beta which has been stable since last week and it's version 1.7-5?

beta repo:
http://cydia.myrepospace.com/jamied360

Also has the LTE toggle. Zero issues, zero crashes.

Edit: looks like he might have removed it but let me know if it doesn't come up for you.

I like how the repo was blamed for pushing the "wrong" one.

No, the developer broke the app and submitted a bad copy. Twice. 1.7 and 1.7-1 both have flaws.

1.7 crashes all the time, and 1.7-1 crashes unless you "reset" settings. 3G/4G toggle is still broken.

The developer doesn't seem to know what he changed (wtf?) and was asking people for their crashlogs.

If he's telling the truth, then what happened was he emailed the bugged version, then followed that up with an email saying don't update it, then he emailed the correct version. Repo manager didn't see the extra emails and uploaded the wrong one.

But I agree, hopefully he'll get this sorted because both versions have bugs. This sucks cause before 1.7 my NcSettings was working PERFECTLY! I use only a few toggles plus I didn't care about the LTE toggle since I'm on a 4S! Needless to say, hopefully we'll be back to normal soon.

What I did this morning was uninstall then reinstalled it, then reset the settings for it and it works fine. Has been all day. 4s on 6.1

Confirmed, the 3G toggle is present on 1.7-2 downloaded from Jamie's private repo, but has no effect.

There's a new public release but sadly my 3G toggle still doesn't work. At least it's now appearing in my Notifcation center. We're getting close!

Is the toggle working for anyone else who was experiencing this problem?

Whatever he did, it has removed the ability to have 3G toggles in other tweaks as well. I got battery doctor pro and even in that the 3G toggle will not show up.So, something is being effected even after NCSettings has been completely removed.

What a mess. The toggles don't seem to work at all, they don't mirror the radio states. Wish i hadn't updated.

Me too. What was the last working version? 1.6.5? If you or somebody else knows please let me know. I'm gonna try and find the deb file.

Don't know last working version, but i regret upgrading...and hearing that other 3G toggle apps fail now makes me think it might be poorly coded, too. I uninstalled it.

Ok. Thanks. Yea it's unfortunate this is happening. It's because he's trying to add the LTE toggle for the iPhone 5. But in doing so he messed up the 4s 3G/edge toggle. What phone are you using?

iPhone 5. Doesn't work for me, either. Irony--the old version let me toggle between LTE and Edge, which is actually what I want. Now it's all broken.

Oh man that sucks. He said something kinda strange on twitter today that I wasn't aware of because I use a 4S on AT&T. It sounds like NcSettings will only allow LTE devices to toggle between LTE and 3G. Does that make sense? Just so I don't confuse people, here is what he said...

@JamieD360: @jaymeferreyra The system only permits switching between the highest available data rate and the next lowest one. So if you have LTE, the...

@JamieD360: @jaymeferreyra ...system is probably only allowing the switching of LTE and 3G.

@JamieD360: @jaymeferreyra If LTE was unavailable, it would allow switching between 3G and 2G (carrier permitting).

Why is the 3G toggle broke on non LTE devices then? :/

I'm not sure what's going on to tell you the truth. Ill give the dev the benefit of the doubt. I have not had a single problem with NCSettings since the day I first installed it after it originally came out. This is the first time I've ever had a problem. Hopefully he'll fix it soon. It was working so perfect before 1.7! I wish I never updated haha. Oh well. Who coulda seen this coming?

I'm still using 1.7 and haven't had a single issue.

The only thing I noticed is that I didn't get the "Do Not Disturb" toggle I've seen in a few screenshots around. Is that a 1.7.1 update?

I'm pretty sure I saw the DND toggle on my phone when I installed 1.7. I'm using a 4S on 6.1.2.
