i dunno peeps...i JUST updated to 1.7.1 and can't get out of safe mode...
everytime i click restart i see the apple logo then am back at safe mode. ugh...

Did you read what I said a few posts back before installing it? Go into the phone settings, then NCSettings and press the reset all settings inside the NCSettings tab. Now you can pull down the NC without going into safe mode.
will try that now...guess i shouldn't be reading threads from the end first...

Hey quick question. So everything is working fine for me, but I just realized I no longer have a "4G". I'm using an AT&T 4S on 6.1.2. Every other toggle is working as usual. I can't get the dang toggle to appear. I've tried a reset, respring, reboot, reinstall, and removal-respring -reinstall lol. Any help?

not at all...common problem on forums, people asking questions when answers were posted a few pages back.
on long threads, i start at or near the end (but of course, this wasn't a long thread yet).
so, thanx actually. got me back in business with a minimum of panic...
Does anyone have the deb file for the version right before the broken version (1.7) got released earlier this evening? Since installing 1.7.1 I no longer have a 3G/Edge toggle. I'd like to install the last working version if anyone's got it. Sorry I don't remember the exact version number. It's whatever version we were all using earlier today. I doubt anyone has it but if so I'd be forever grateful!
still broken on mine, and can't get into the settings, settings app crashes when I try... 4 on 5.1.1
Same here. I rarely use the 3G toggle, but hopefully it'll get updated again soon.
I performed the update before reading this thread but after checking the different crashes people are having I'm not affected.

I don't think I'll be installing updates without having a quick look here or elsewhere before installing again.
I just saw on the dev's twitter account other people who are reporting the problem of missing the 3G/edge toggle. Hopefully he can push an update to fix it. I use that toggle a lot! I feel naked not having it lol

No, the developer broke the app and submitted a bad copy. Twice. 1.7 and 1.7-1 both have flaws.
1.7 crashes all the time, and 1.7-1 crashes unless you "reset" settings. 3G/4G toggle is still broken.
The developer doesn't seem to know what he changed (wtf?) and was asking people for their crashlogs.

I wouldn't be so quick to blame the developer entirely. It may be acting strange when interacting with another package.
