Why? I see no reason to upgrade. Camera? I use a Nikon D800 for my photography anyway. I will just install iOS7 and it will seem like a new phone anyway.

I've had my 5 since launch day a year ago. I'm not in contract and I have an unlocked phone so that I can keep the really good rate plan I have.

I'm not sure if I'll upgrade or not. The fingerprint scanner is interesting, but without NFC its not really a make it or break it. Neither is A7 since my 5 never has any issues with being slow. I think the thing thats making me consider upgrading the most is the camera. I use my iPhone as my primary digital camera and the image stabilization features would be really nice to have.

If I sell my 5 now I'll be able to get more for it than if I wait a year, so maybe I should just upgrade. Decisions :p

I had iphone 5 since launch day last year, sold it for 590 two days ago.

I will pay 400 plus tax for early contract termination and will get iphone 5s.

On my corporate plan I get 250$ bonus for signing new contract, so I will be getting 5s for free. I will actually make around 150$ for getting new phone.

So very exited to get 5S, too bad, no pre orders on 5S, I will have to use iphone 4 for few more weeks.#

I know I'm crazy but I paid FULL for my 5 on Verizon and I will for the 5s and trade in my 5 when I go there. Will wait til about December tho to see what cases r out but fingerprint sensor and processesor won me over

Stay! iOS 7 runs great on the 5 and makes for a very fluid user experience. The 6 will be worth the wait, hopefully,

I get the new one every year and previous model gets trickled down in the family. My wife will be the proud owner of a 64GB white iPhone w Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Aryan's autograph on the rear ( have video proof ) with a life proof case.

I'm glad to hear. I haven't tried iOS7 yet, but hopefully it will make my 5 feel like a new phone.

Me too i had the 5 since launch day, bought it full price unlocked like i always did since the iphone 4... The iphone 5 is a very capable phone, what im debating is if ios 7 will be as smooth as ios 6... I remember my itouch 4 really slow down when i upgraded it to ios 6, i hope apple will not do the same thing with the i5.

The 5S is aimed at those with 4S. If you buy now, next year you will find yourself upgrade again.

I sold my 4s and bought a used 5 on eBay. Crap is the iPhone 5 fast!

I don't see how the a7 can be faster aside from playing games, which I never do on a small screen.

Fingerprint scanner is cool and so is camera, but the iPhone 5 feels like a HUGE jump from my 4s already.

I'll save the upgrade for something even better...who knows, maybe the 5s will report back as being just as big a jump in speed as the 5 was to the 4s? I'm all about speed! I drive a lot, so I need fast response.

If you have an iPhone 5 I don't see why you would upgrade. I still have a 4S and I'm upgrading solely for the LTE. Being stuck with slow 3G in 2013 is awful.

Camera is the most important function for me (besides email and SMS). I'll probably upgrade from 5 to 5S for that reason. The camera improvements are ginormous. :D

What are used 5's going to sell for anyway starting next week? I was hoping to get $500 for my 64gb that has just over a year left of AppleCare+. But think I'll just hang onto the 5 for another year since I'm covered.

I´ll definitely stay with my iPhone 5 until the iPhone 6 comes, it´s simply too expensive to get a new one every year, and I don´t need it since the old one is working perfectly.

I wonder if iOS 7 is faster on the 5S

Also the fingerprint sensor eliminates two steps. The swipe and then the 4 digit password.

Plus iTunes purchases are easier.

I am upgrading.

I will sell my iPhone 5 for 500€ and getting the 32GB model for 799€. So for me the question is: Is the iPhone 5S 300€ worth? For me, yes!

I have owned every iPhone since the first... Sold my one year old i5 the day before the reveal, then decided that the 5s isnt worth upgrading to especially at the £549 price increase!

So, i bought another i5 the next day, brand new for £10 more than i sold my old one for.

Will wait for the i6 :apple:

As an iPhone 5 owner I really don't think there is much point selling it just to buy a 5S. I like what the 5S brings and think anybody who owned a previous iPhone would be wise to upgrade, but I don't think there is enough of an incentive for me. I'm guessing I would lose a considerable amount of money too.
