Metro 2033 Redux got me interested in other games they make and I ended up buying Metro Exodus (less that $10.00 including DLC). I'm still running MacOS 15.3.2 so I have no idea if MacOS 15.4 also breaks Metro Exodus.

Exodus is a sequel to 2033 and Last Light so it would be a pity to skip them. You can simply create a volume with Sonoma and play the games.
Yep, not to be missed...

I really enjoyed Exodus. ☺️
CEO of GSC Game World (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) was notoriously greedy and refused to financially acknowledge the devs as the games blew up. They split off and formed 4A Games, building the Metro franchise based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's novel Metro 2033. Exodus is a game all gamers should play... TBH play all Metro as they are way better than some of the garbage pumped out today by so called AAA studios.

Right now I'm in a very difficult situation with a very hostile Alien on Sevastopol station...

Odds are not favourable, but far from the first dance with the beast. Unfortunately it's locked in the space station with me LOL.

Yup - easy to forget since it was more than 15 years ago, and certainly disappointing as a fan of the original STALKER games that these guys got screwed over ... but also agree that the Metro games are amazing!

There were some subtle but amazing character interaction moments in this game’s (Metro Exodus) narrative. 😊

Part 2- Don’t need the disturbing dreams. 😔

Play Radiophobia 3, you wont be disappointed. Is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on steroids, a game not to be missed and completely free and very polished... The first two Metro games are stunning plays, Exodus kicks it up to the next level, a very strong game indeed, talking top ten easily so.

I like and play both franchise's, so have no axe to grind. Is simple, take care of your people and they will take care of you... GSC got what it deserved and we got Metro, personally I'm good with that.

Steam and gabe newell doesn't care about mac os in general:rolleyes:
Why WOULD they? As a business what they care about is MONEY. You can use Steam on a Mac to play what games are available ... the fact that Mac Gaming is at an all-time low point is not remotely Valve's fault - it is on Apple and publishers.

This is business - despite being the second largest OS install base, MacOS is THIRD in terms of Steam gamers. I've had an Apple computer as my primary at home since I bought an Apple ][+ in high school in the early 80s, and I can't honestly think of the last time I even installed a game on my Mac ... certainly not since getting the Steam Deck more than three years ago.

In the mid 90s (before Bootcamp), I was trying hard to make MacOS work for gaming. With identical cards on a Mac Tower and on a cheap PC, for Unreal Tournament, Mac= 30-40fps, PC 60-90 fps. Yes this is partially because of the way games are developed, optimizations, and the predominant platforms to play games on. Macs are an after thought.
I'll include my obligatory statement, that my MBP is a champ for everyday stuff, my favorite, and I'm typing on it at this moment! But more time than not these days for casual browsing, I'm on my iPad. :)

Absolutely agree - I remember when BootCamp released in 2006, playing the same game (Jedi Knight II, No One Lives Forever 2, KotOR, etc) on the same hardware - one on MacOS and the other on WinXP ... the WinXP was always better.
