Look at cnn.com Front page headline.

Every major single major news outlet is tearing Apple apart.

lol wow.

The PR head at apple must want to kill SJ right now.

What a stupid response.

Good. I'm kinda glad. That seems to be the only way to have a large company make any changes. That was definitely an inappropriate response and Mr. Jobs should have put a little more thought into it or something. Don't get wrong, I like Apple and it's products. I have owned/own several with no real issues. Everything else is great with the ip4. Guess we shall see what happens

So you know exactly what the problem is? Please, do share with the rest of us.

I look forward to your response.

Where in her post does she seem to indicate she knows what the problem is?

The only thing I know is, my four iPhones I have now have the SAME ISSUES.

And none of them is an iPhone 4.

5 bars of 3G sitting on my table, as soon as I pick it up, the signal gets weaker.

And no, I don't pretend to know what the problem is. I just live with it because I love all the other features of the device. The PHONE part of the iPhone has pretty much been the worst part of the device since the 3G came out.

Yes, the problem, as the CNN article clearly notes with it's title, is SJ acting like a jackass in response to reported user problems. Way to totally obfuscate the issue.

Yes, Hold the phone with your pinky out!

I dont know. I really did wish i knew. I mean for me, i always hold the phone the near the bottom so it wont slip from my hands (I live in Vegas and my hand gets a lil sweaty :( ).

I think you could argue the worst part of the device has been the phone since it was introduced.

+ 1. I can't believe im actually talking so negative about an Apple product. I freaking love the iPhones but mine is completely unusable. I actually have to go back to a 3GS pending a fix for this. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have to do this.

Maybe the Crown Royal Black sales spiked with that ad right beside the piece on the iP4?

I honestly have no issue with mine...if completely block the black stripes the signal goes down, but during normal use, with the way i hold the phone this does not happen at all...

Yes, reprogram how the phone selects a signal. Which I'm sure Apple is already doing.

You have obviously clearly never, ever, coded in your entire life. You have absolutely no idea what your talking about.
Reprogram how the phone select a signal

LOL! LMAO! ROFL!

How is it going to magically detect if you are holding it in your hands or not and appropriately adjust? This is a hardware issue. It cannot be fixed by anything short of another revision.

God you noobs who have no clue make me laugh.

I don't believe this "problem" is anywhere near as big as people are making it sound.

But I also believe that Steve was amazingly stupid and should not have said anything. This is something the company needs to think about and figure out how to handle over the next week. It doesn't matter if he's in charge, he shouldn't have said anything to anyone about it that soon. Certainly not in the way he did.

Same here. Seems to me the OP has a bee in his bonnet. Poor OP.

Apple deserves this. I love apple and I love my new i4... But... THERE ARE PROBLEMS HERE, AND IT'S NOT OUR FAULT!
