No it doesn't. At 1.2 Ghz it dissipates heat at 19W. That's acceptable for a laptop.
I think pilotgi is correct. For Steve Jobs to announce a minor update to the G4 PB, at this late date, would be simply embarrasing. Jobs goes for the spotlight, the headlines, the total "wow" factor. I believe he will announce a lower MHz G5 Powerbook at Paris. It is the year of the Laptop after all. But what am I going to do about VPC?😕
