Steve Jobs heading up to the iCloud. RIP and thanks for the shiny toys.

Yes the men wasn't perfect but he changed tech and he changed millions of lives

"Stay hungry. Stay foolish." - Steve Jobs

There are many great men in this world but how many have truly changed the way you live every day.

I thought Cook seemed distracted during the keynote. Now we know why.

I wonder what this means for the industry. Steve was the result of a different generation than we live in today. I imagine competitors will be poaching Apple employees and gutting the company pretty quickly. A really sad way to see his legacy die, but very likely.

Rest in peace, Steve--you were a true visionary and will be missed greatly and remembered always.

A true visionary. In a world driven by technology, Steve Jobs took the wheel, and strayed off the beaten path.

My condolences to all who knew him.

RIP Steve.

Wish he could've given us another 20-30 years. The world wouldn't be where it is without him. Technology is where it is because of his vital contributions and visions.

I just heard the news, and I'm still in shock... 56years is not that old. Sure he had health problems but I guess I thought he still had a long life ahead of him. Hopefully his vision will be carried though and that other innovators will learn from his example.

RIP Steve, you made the world a better place and you will be remembered as a brilliant mind

I'm going to an Apple store now and buying myself an iPod Classic. I still can't believe this news, I really can't. My jaw dropped when I saw it.

Well, I think this is explained now...

Wow. I was hoping when he stepped down a few months ago that he was going to finally be able to relax and enjoy the rest of his life. I feel for his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace.

I can't believe this :'(

I woke up and the first website I went on is an Icelandic news site and I saw that Steve has passed away.

R.I.P Steve Jobs and thank you for making the world a better place. We'll miss you :'(

This is a sad day for the world. You can't talk about computers, software, hardware, heck, the WHOLE modern world as we live it, without considering the creative genius that Steve Jobs was. That thing your typing on? It all started there.. in a little garage back in the seventies. So here's to the man who had a big dream, a thought, a hope to change the world. You did. Here's to you Steve.
