Apple have a road map. Whatever Apple have planned over the next few years, Steve must have had a hand in it somewhere. Not to mention his trusted, talented team.

I wonder what this means for the industry. Steve was the result of a different generation than we live in today. I imagine competitors will be poaching Apple employees and gutting the company pretty quickly. A really sad way to see his legacy die, but very likely.

I just heard the news, and I'm still in shock... 56years is not that old. Sure he had health problems but I guess I thought he still had a long life ahead of him. Hopefully his vision will be carried though and that other innovators will learn from his example.

This is a sad day for the world. You can't talk about computers, software, hardware, heck, the WHOLE modern world as we live it, without considering the creative genius that Steve Jobs was. That thing your typing on? It all started there.. in a little garage back in the seventies. So here's to the man who had a big dream, a thought, a hope to change the world. You did.
